Fair anough. If somebody can't afford it then it's understandable that they don't sponsor someone.

I believe from reading previous (deleted) posts from Phatomch that his disposable income allows him to cross sponsor with Kin and Lee so in this case I'll stand by what I said.

Lee you answered your own question.

If you are skint you cannot afford to donate. If kinboshi can afford to but chooses not to on the basis that you haven't sponsored him then that's pretty lame imo.

Cos, please shut up.  I sponsored Lee ages ago - and he sponsored me.  He didn't need reminding lots of times either.

Dan, please do stick your head further up your own arse.

I was responding to Lee hypothetically. I don't agree that you should only give money to people who have given to you.

If it's hypothetical, stop including me in your statements then.  Not going to engage in a childish slagging match with you so will just ignore your posts from now on.

sigh, i thought i was on for a popcorn post.

I used to sponsor everyone, but it got beyond a joke where i was dishing out like £15 a week. Point blank refuse these days. If i want to give to charity I will send some money, but just because someone is sitting in a bath of beans for 5hrs doesn't make me dip into my pocket anymore.

Have to say, I agree with Cos, should sponsor someone if you can afford it, don't if you can't.

Bit like staking, I have been staked by loads on here, and have staked very few in return. Not through choice.

running/walking 200+km in the sahara with the added bonus of dysentery, still did not make this man sponsor me!! I did get a msg from Mr Indestructable after the 2nd day of the race and this made up for the lack of sponsorship. (although the msg was telling me to sort myself out and quoting a price for me to beat my brother who was a 80+ minutes ahead of me)

As for sponsorship, it really is down to each persons discretion.
