Darren Woods, is the last Brit standing in Event #19: Limit Hold'em / Six Handed at the WSOP 2011. Darren, who went early to the WSOP this year with fellow Team 888poker member and new WSOP bracelet winner Tyler Bonkowski, is in the last 12 of a field of 354 entrants. Going into day 3, Darren has a stack of 178,500 good for 8th (chip leader has 412,500), and an eye on his first WSOP bracelet.

With 6 WSOP cashes to his name, including a 35th place finish WSOPE last September, Darren is no stranger to the pressures of running deep. And being an advisor to a WSOP 2011 bracelet holder will definitely give him the determination necessary to take this one down. Although he is slightly below the chip average 221,250 (blinds 2,500/5,000), expectations are riding high on Darren making the 2nd Final table for a Team 888poker member in these WSOP tournaments.

Word reaches me that Alex Martin is in the remaining two dozen runners in the $1k jobbie.

His Tourney report will make interesting reading.....

Good luck Mr Martin.

Could you imagine the mess Vegas would be in if Alex won half a mill and a bracelet?

Gogogogo.
