Great fight.
Linares is a beast. Just kept coming and so crisp with his combos, even after the 8 count. Fantastic fight. Is it AJ next?

Fight gets stopped 2 minutes earlier if Hearn is managing the winner. He really does do everything possible to get the refs onside.

Mitchell 6 ahead on one of the cards. Week in week out we get bollocks like that yet nothing is done about it. It didn't matter in the end but that's not the point.

It does matter though otherwise we are just being results orientated. It is as important to bring it up when it doesn't count as when it does. Who are the judges accountable to ultimately? Surely they must be assessed like EPL refs or NBA/NFL refs are constantly?

If action is taken against a judge it is never made public. It could be that the governing body don't use the judge again but with so many different bodies out there the judge won't have to sign on any time soon even if that happens.

Just Incase we didn't already know Buffer reminds us that Kingpin has never been stopped. Joke stoppage incoming.

Linares is miles better than the other guys fighting for 135lb titles this year. Bit tough on Kev, then again he did mess up the rehydration thing to ruin a previous eliminator.

I thought Mitchell gave a really good account of himself. It was a career best performance from him. He deserves another crack at world level after that. I thought There would have been a bigger gulf in class but it was very tight prior to him unravelling.

The good news is they don't let AJ off the leash like thy unless they are really stepping him up.
Pricey is most likely, would mentally ruin him for life though.
