I think Eddie has just taken the view this is a right off now and to do it at the cheapest possible price and treat it like a public sparring session.

Yeah, Ortiz is the only available fighter who would have been credible but I can understand Eddie not being keen on taking on him at short notice.  It’s gone completely tits up and beyond salvaging now.

Terms agreed for Joyce v Dubois. Fair play to both camps ifnthis one actually goes ahead. Really interesting fight.

Like AJ vs Whyte but an actual 50/50 instead of a 1.1 fave.

Suppose you could go back to Fury Chisora 1 as two unbeaten heavies in a 50/50.

Loving this new boldness from Frank. Sending Yarde to Russia and now putting DD in with the Juggernaut. It’s always fascinating to see two prospects matched up early in their career. It didn’t do DeGale or Groves any harm.

Frank signs Joyce. Nice stable of heavyweight prospects he has now with Joyce, Dubois and the underrated Gorman.

Dubois is the stand out option when your looking for a potential heavyweight champion. Gorman is a tidy boxer yet may plateau a bit as Hatton does his after dinner speeches.

Joyce looked like he was in the Matrix when he fought Stiverne.

Dubois looks like an absolutel unit, though.

Meet your new favourite in the next AJ opponent race and boy does he like his Snickers bars.

Hearn originally downplayed him on account of his shape (see 2:45). Good fighter though and the style they've been prepping for. Give me anything better than Charr/Bryan.

There's plenty to like about big juggernaut Joe. Deserving of an Olympic gold. Punches like he's underwater. Didn't even even blink when old Lenroy punched him in the D. Plus it helps that he's smashed the unders more often than not.

Yeah, he seems like a really nice lad, and he's obviously made of iron.

Saw someone else talking about him, and saying he's quite lively with his hands.

Ortiz must be in the middle of his juicebox, and can't clean out in time for Vada Grin
