Did I mishear it or did one judge score that 116-112 Quigg?

116-112 x 2 for Frampton
115-113 for Quigg.

I think Quigg looked as shocked as anyone when the 1st judge gave it to him.

I've watched the fight again. I can't have Quigg winning any of the first 8 rounds. I could maybe give him a share of the first but that's it. Quigg won 9-11 and Frampton the last. Most of the rounds were clear cut either way so wasn't all that difficult to score.

In a 10 round must system you try and not score a 10-10 round. If zero punches were landed, I'd score it to the fighter who slipped the most punches rather than the guy who missed on account of having better ring generalship. Not throwing any punches and catching a few shots doesn't count. Doesn't get you a share of the round either.

Even as someone who's followed and appreciated Bradley Skeete and Lucas Brown I'd prefer to be betting against them tonight. Hopefully they drift a bit before the off.

Marky will recall I'm a fan of Luis Ortiz. Again I fancy him to win early doors. Lads aint put up any rounds 1-6 prices yet so I put up the straight KO on TFT.

I agree with Ortiz. I think he gets him out of there relatively early.

I like Eggington but he isn't hard to hit and I think Skeete is all wrong for him and wins a tightish one on the cards

One I like at a price is Perea against Dawejko at 10/1 with 365. Perea hasn't set the heather alight as a pro but he has a decent amateur pedigree. He has to improve but won't have to improve all that much to get a W here.

Come on Gafal! He looks like a very nice fighter.

Some special Terry O'Connor magic may be needed to give him enough rounds to win...

That was terrific to watch. He looked strong with both hands and in defence.

First time I've seen the younger brother fight.

Well done that cut man!

11/10 looks to be a Sky price. Despite what oddschecker says the bet would be within 5 rounds,  ie the bet loses if round 6 starts.

U5.5 evens with Unibet would additionally give you 1:30 of round 6. If U6.5 was widely available I'd of filled it in.

Gerber smashed Brian Minto in 2 rounds over on the Boxnation card. God knows how much notice Minto had but surely that time for him to call it a day.

Sounds like I missed something over on the Sky card though..

I've been working, so not managed to catch anything yet.

Might grab a nap before Tony Thompson needs that wheelchair, which he said his mrs would be using backalong.

Egg's hit 2.2 now. It goes against the grain but I'm really high on the kid.

Absolute scenes as Big Daddy Browne stops Chagaev in the 10th.  Chagaev and the bookies underestimated Browne's resilience after being cut, down, and hurt.
