Then there's the complete logic failure by this idiot:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2012/dec/10/conservative-mp-parents-gay-children

"I think most people are very tolerant and have no problem at all if people are gay but – and I hate to say this, in a way, because I expect it's going to cause controversy – but I think most parents would prefer their children not to be gay, knowing most parents want grandchildren if nothing else."

WTF?!!!

Well Boshi, its nice to be PC and all that. But I'm pretty sure if you asked people behind closed doors the vast majority would tell you they would prefer their children not to be gay, so he isn't saying anything people don't think.

What's that got to do with opposing gay marriage?

I was taking issue with you calling him an idiot for saying that, its probably the truth.

He's an idiot.  What has people not wanting their children to be gay got to do with gay marriage?

Already said, no idea. From the bit you quoted it looked like you were calling him an idiot for saying that.

I'm calling him an idiot, because he is.  He's opposing gay marriage, and said what I quoted as part of his opposition to it.

Ok as long as its not for the quote above then no big sweat.

It is for the above quote, in the context it was said.

That's a great family pic Tom and yours isn't too bad Dave.....

....but I need to re-address the balance in the piss you off thread.

I had my eyes tested today for the first time in 5 years. I'd noticed that my eyes have been feeling very tired of late. I should wear glasses for reading and computer work but as my eyes have never been too bad I never bothered wearing glasses. Anyway, I went to Optical Express and half an hour later I'm looking for a new pair glasses.

I got the choice down to 2 pairs, 1 rimless and 1 half rim. Great I'll have the rimless ones, err that'll be 3 weeks before they are ready because the lenses have to be lighter and thicker and have to be prepared especially. Nevermind, I'll have the half rim ones. Err that'll be 3 weeks because OE half just go rid of loads of staff and that's how long they'll take. Thanks but no thanks, so I paid for the test and went to Vision Express.

How long do I have to wait for glasses I enquired. 1 hour, the reply. Great, I want some rimless ones. Err that'll be 3 weeks. Bugger.

Anyway to cut a long story short, I've got my glasses and they don't bloody work.

Checkout staff at supermarkets, especially Tesco

1) When you ask for bags and they just give you a load of bags which take forever to get 'unstuck' from each other and open, thats if you don't split them cos they are soo thin
2) Hand them your clubcard and they put it on the counter rather hand it back to you.

This

Also the other day my mrs, who is heavily pregnant, was at Morrisons and the young lad serving her asks 'would you like any help packing?'

My gf, replies,'yeah that would be great, thanks'

The guy then looks flustered and replies 'er..... Sorry there's actually no one around to help... What I can do is scan them a bit slower'.

Wtf?c

I went into the local Tesco Petrol station at about 9:30 last night and there were 2 women, mother and daughter I presume, both dressed in the pyjamas. What the fuck is that all about. Classless. I expect that in locations like Tipton or Port Talbot but not where I live. Fuck me, will have to move if it gets much worse.

Researchers found that entering the word ‘porn’ brought up hundreds of X-rated images.

I hate queuing for anything thing but what pisses me off more are the people who queue jump. Total lack of respect for other people, classless scum.
