I think it's dangerous to assume what effect is has. If it's worth paying 100k for then somebody must be making more than this from it. If somebody is making money from it then somewhere somebody must be losing money because of it and we don't really know what the result of that is.
I love sport, especially cricket so anything that damages it (and this surely does) is bad in my book but these people shouldn´t be going to prison. With the specific 100k incident it´s important to note that it was entirely an invention of the NOTW as a "sting" operation, it didn´t actually exist in real terms, only in the minds of a collection of deadbeat journalists/editors. I´m not questioning that there will probably be a market for it but in this specific instance it was just a NOTW set up.

Fantastically LOL Test going on between SA and Australia right now.
Today 14 wickets have fallen for 62 runs - SA collapsed from 49/1 to 96 all out and in reply Australia are 16/5

Australia have already got too many, too...
Pup Clarke scored 144 and might beat both SA innings combined....

It doesn't seem to bad too me. The ball is moving a bit but I haven't seen anything too drastic or balls keeping low.

Aus were 21/9 ended up 47 all out. 26 is the lowest ever total in a test match.

We're shit again!
Clueless batting on foreign soil - just like the old days.

Strauss, Trott, Pietersen just awful dismissals
Got to cut out the pre-meditated sweeps and charges in these conditions. Front foot forward blocks and biff the bad uns. Just like Anderson is doing
the bowlers, who were almost all excellent, let down by the top seven again, fourth test on the trot.

Take Bell & Jayawardene out of the scores and it's: 138 v 105 at the moment

Not really, a dry sub continent wicket on which Mahela can get 180
Bad batting for the most part.

We're good again!
Once again England are kings of the world, slaying all inferior teams in our wake.
191 runs in a full day's play - Boycott must be loving this.

Also, may as well put this here rather than on its own thread, but had a tip for Pragyan Ojha to be top wicket taker in the IPL. He was leading wicket taker 2 years ago, but fell away last year as he only played 10 of 14 matches. However, this season he's moved teams and gone to Mumbai and should be back to being first-choice again.
He's currently 20/1 with Sky and 22 with Stan James but the first game starts in 20 minutes so markets will get taken down.
