In estate agency we know that For Sale and Sold boards are GREAT for business. Having said that they only communicate that you are active in an area and say nothing about how you operate or how enjoyable your service would be. (If our service is anything other than enjoyable, even remarkable in the current economic climate we might as well quit now!) Some agents don’t get this and think that the only way to gain market share is to attack their competitors which could, if filmed and posted online, possibly destroy them.

Here is one sent to me in an email of allegedly an estate agent from Muswell Hill, London literally kicking down a competitors board in broad daylight

BALANCE

In the interest of balance and seeing that all the new diarists are winning I thought I would start to knock it in like it's going out of fashion and it has not been fun at all!!

It's funny as this time last week I was up in Edinburgh for the UKIPT and having dodged the snow and flown up on Thursday morning had high hopes for a great weekend and checked in at the hotel about 5mins walk from venue and walked up to have a mooch around before my side event on Thursday evening.  Venue checked out I had a Mcdonalds for lunch and found a little bookies on the side street where I just sat and watched the racing having invested £22 on placepots for something to watch I was never going to do much harm.

My Dubai balance was £146 having called in the Southend bet on the 15th and had asked him to bet Leicester for me vs M'Boro at 8/11 and then seen a horse in the notebook I like so have a further £140 on ERICHT in the place market only at 4/5 which runs nowhere (although it won today after EdGas tipped it up and I was on small) so it was a £146 winner at 8/11 and a £140 loser at 4/5 leaving £112 in the pot and the poker to come.

The side event was annoying as although not a lot tilts me in life I was sat on a table where this drunk French guy was taking forever over every decision and on a 15 min turbo clock it meant we played 4 hands per level and even after 1 dealer mentioned to him that it was a turbo he replied "I know I'm in it" and whilst sat in this I was dealt a succession of non playable hands when we needed to chip up and then to top of the night proceeded to get slow rolled by an old guy from London with AA after he waited for a full 2 mins before calling for 2/3 his stack  now if this was against Vinny or someone who has wronged us then fairplay but I said nothing and then chilled and chatted to Dom Kay (Nico) and Fraser Macintyre before retiring for the evening.

Friday morning was 1b and I arrived early and drew seats and really feel I run bad in seat draws sometimes as I was sandwiched between Ben Jenkins and Sunny Chatta along with Lee Taylor and 2 other seemingly ok oppos and only 1 real sign of a villain prepared to donate his chips lightly.  I ground it out all day and called light one hand and when I got shortish in chips we were 2 tables from breaking so due to the fact we were miles from home and due to break just did some more folding but on the last hand before we broke I got Kings vs an UTG raise from Ben and flatted behind hoping for some action in LP but it was just me n Ben and I ended up winning a smallish pot after he cbet a Q high flop and we both checked the A turn which killed my action before leading the river and I could only flat behind beating his QK and then we broke.

My new table was much better but we were only 4 tables from breaking again and I went into the last level of the day on a table with most players having good chips and me looking for a spot but whilst I won chips in the last level it was only maintaining my stack and I ended up with 14600 and a loss of 400 chips on the day.

Saturday I had the £112 on the obvious double on the footie of Liverpool and Man City at 2/7,4/11 and then laid Spurs for £192 @ 2/1 winning another £96 but had busted out of the main event whena guys mistimed 3b from the sb without looking at my stack meant he had to call of another 8bbs with J2o and left me drawing dead on the turn and left with only the side event Sat evening to play.
