WP on binking the seats. Good work on the pics too.

Obviously its time for the run good to happen, but do you mind holding off as I'm now in seat 7 on your table!
Haha Thanks Jonny I have only just seen this.

Out of interest what did you have the hand where I 3b your EP open and you CR the flop on K23rb?

If I remember correctly, I may well have had a middle pair, I think it was 10's. I've been meaning to get on here for a while, I thought you'd be interested! What did you have? I had a read feeling that you may have had a pair yourself Jack's, maybe 9's, and weren't enjoying the King high board.

Did you see my hand with Vinson?

And everytime I see you, you're playing or deep in conversation, a proper introduction is still necessary! Especially as I'm now in the market for a first house...
Yeah no probs will prob be up May for mini-deepstack so can have a chat then or pm me if you want with any Q's and I will reply.

Had 9's that hand and a pretty bad PTS ratio for anything other than folding plus not that I found them but there were easier spots at the table  Sad

Thanks Scotty it's the first time I have ever done anything like that but really enjoyed it and like your goodself having a % of Trigg it made for much more interesting viewing than just railing him from the side.

I just tried to keep it simple for the Recdonkfishes like me who would be listening  Wink

Not really updated here since the MC weekend but it's all good tbh

Cliffs for those that ownt read the TL;DR version

Had a good % of Trigg which with a Trigg Bonus meant that my returns are my second highest Herbertmob entry  Wink

Run really good on sports from bowl stakes upto a couple of Stevie's

Binked 1 Day 1 ISPT Seat from E100 and trying to get 2 more

Had a Vendor sadly pass away whilst I'm holding £20k for him...

A 3rd consecutive record month at work in terms of turnover

MC Weekend

My own MC weekend experience was pretty Meh tbh as having travelled up all excited and staying up for the full 3days the ME passed me by as I had a table with Albert Sappiano on it that changes the whole dynamic of the game and meant we needed to flop well to build a stack and by the time he got knocked out I had bled 1/2 my stack away once in a cooler vs Albert where I turned trips and him a house on a really good runout for me and this then meant that as antes had kicked in all the 3/4 betting kicked off with me having to nit up and eventually got my 25bb's in with JJ in a completely Ghey way vs AA.

However I got to meet Big_D which was the highlight of my Day1

I had taken a view on the F1 Grand Prix over the early practice and am sure Dubai would confirm I run pretty dece on F1 value spotting and having built up a small roll from small ball punting ( I am allowed to do this btw ) I decided that Kimi Raikonen to finish on the Podium was the bet of the weekend and backed him for £700 to £400 prior to Qualifying to see him finish 8th on the starting grid and the bookies pushed him out to 11/8 so being as I thought 4/7 was a good price I pushed again and availed myself with another £325 @ 11/8
TBC

Day 2 MC

Started with me visiting my Dad's resting place at Bretby Crematorium and placing some flowers where we scattered his ashes on his birthday 20th April (as a family we have my brothers Birthday 19th April, dad's 20th and mine 21st April so Trigg was always gonna give me a birthday bink!) and I find it really cathartic to spend 30-45 mins there in peace just watching the world go by. We scattered him in the same place as Grandma in a really nice spot (will upload a phot) so he is not alone there.

I played the MPP £300 and bust after 1hour with set under set vs Paul Grummit where EP opens  MP 3's and I find JJ otb and flat with Paul cold 4'ing from the BB and both other villains get out the way so I flat again and we see 36KSS he leads small so just peel one and turn a red Jack where we get the remaining 60% of our stack in and head back out into Nottingham for the evening Sad

Catch up with the updates to see that I have a min cash from Tom Ambler 5% and still have 5% in Outrageous and 10% of Trigg in the last 30odd of the main so as am playing in the Chairty event am sure to have a good rail of the boys and hopefully a decent bink to go home with.  The Charity event was a pretty fast structure and I suppose I was unlucky in that the BB wakes up with a hand after I 3b Jam allin over a raise and a flat with 20bbs and Jqhh and the BB wakes up with Dem Aceswhich leaves me watching Raikonen stop one time less in the pits that the rest and coast to a 2nd place on the Podium leaving me just to rail Trigg although I got to do abit of commentary with Tighty, Alex and Lil D which was fun.

Obv a massive thank you to Trigg who won me a chunk that Petra obviously took care of and will most likely spend more wisely than I would have.

Sports Betting

Turned a £20 into a few hundo and then into a monkey from 3-4 winners prior to Raikonen bet and then in the aftermath of that managed to have Chelsea +1 goal £300 @ 7/10 plus £85 on Suarez anytime goalscorer 6/5 followed by some correct score losers on 3-1 5-1 in the ManUtd v Villa match along with backing Claypoles horse and Redarmi's tip where I put a few quid on for him and put £25ew on for myself as well.

Then the winners rained in again with a rare Barry Neville winner on the Sky dogs with £101.64 (random amounts ftw) at 13/8 returned 4/5 an each way loser on the horses from a judge and then a really good result on the semi final between Dortmund and Real when I backed BTTS and either team to win at 7/2 each of 2 and returned a profit of £120 on £100 staked plus £66.81 on over 4.5 total match goals at 4/1 for a sweet night.

Lost on the darts with £150 going back to BillyHills on some correct score punts with Taylor missing one dart to land one which would have shown a good profit but had already scooped in the Over Cards Market with a certain Ref I follow and had tipped upto Shallow who rarely books in the first half but gets his cards out in the second half and waded in with £300 @ 21/20 over over 45 pts in the Basle v Chelsea match with no cards till 70 minutes and 6 in the last 20mins we were weighed in ( Maybe I should play the Spread markets?)  then on Friday backed Queensbury Rules at Sandown at early morning odds and was rewarded before a Barry Neville loser which I would not have backed if Queensbury had not won Sad and then landed an Under 2.5 goals bet on Ross County in the evening (see below) plus backed Thousand Stars and Rebel Fitz in the betting without the fav market for a small win on the race which took us into last Saturday.

Saturday I really fancied West Brom but would have won a chunk if Southampton were winning or drawing at Half time with West Brom winning at Full time but fired a very good cover shot on West Brom just winning at 5.3 and an over 2.5 treble for £50 on Wigan,Newcastle and Southampton but I had texted Dubai 2 bets to put on for me which were Wigan to score Over 0.5 second half goals £165 @ 10/11 and Liverpool to score over 1.5 second half goals £85 @ 15/4 and these bolstered my Dubai roll quite nicely.

Just the one bet Sunday which was a stake returned having backed Man Utd DNB and 2 bets Monday with £220 on over 2.5 goals Villa v Sunderland and £90 on the over 6's in the IPL that someone put up in TFT to before what feels like my first loser in a few days when we backed Dortmund plus 4 corners vs Madrid last night for £240 but despite winning at 83mins the timing of the goal killed this as Dortmund then stopped attacking so it was Geeeeeeeeeg.

Tonight I am on Barcelona as there are not many times you can back them at a shade of odds on at home so will be massively funking for them to play well.

I have now decided with my sports betting that when I get to a certain figure I am giving a chunk to Petra and then small ball again trying to build up as for me it would feel too Normal (not that this is a bad thing) to not have the ability to have a bet and try to build up some ££ plus although the amounts mentioned in here may be extreme to some when you do get on a roll and confidence is running through the veins you tend to take a more agressive stance on stuff and my problem is if I have access to big big chunks of money then I'm more likely to chase but this avenue is no longer available to me so I small ball rather than go "cold Turkey" and give up completely and then press when ahead, plus it's not like I'm just rofling around picking random stuff to punt on a lot of time, thought and study goes into what I am going to back.

I have also taken the stance that in events where there is something I DONT want to happen I shall not be watching the event Eg   If I back under cards/goals  then there is nothing worse watching hoping there is nothing going to happen and I cannot change the result so why put myself through the pain and sweat when I can just check the result later.

There is nothing worse than backing 0-0 or for the pro's No Goalscorer in say the Sunderland vs Fulham match and after 10mins there are no goals and life is good, 20 mins in and Steven Fletcher is through one on one  vs Schwarzer and life is still obv good, Steven Fletcher Scores oh FFS so not watching Sport is now a thing of the future for me!!!

At work we have just done our 3rd consecutive month of over £50'000 in nett written business and means that YTD we are currently 140% up on the first 4 months of 2013 vs 2012 and on target if we maintain this to turnover 150% of our 2012 figure which was inturn 130% up on the year before me and the team got here.  Recession what Recession!

It does mean though that I can't update as much as I would like though as we are so busy so am not able to grind Blonde at work like before and can just catchup at diff points in the day  Wink

I mentioned in the cliffs that a vendor had passed away and I will do a longer post on this later on tonight as it's quite an interesting story...

I won't be mate no, but I will see you in Vegas when you win a package!

I love the live parts of those team events, but I can't handle being tied downto play a bunch of in the build up. I would quite happily pay to buy average stack and then just turn up for the live leg Cheesy
