Shotgun the spare room if I come down.

Petra did say to me at the weekend I couldn't have my normal bed, as you might be there too. Spose that's fair.

Sounds like you've got the bug again.

Did you find one of those drivers?

Had a bullet last night to try and add some more chips but 1010 vs AA btn vs SB and we did not get there.

I have a horse on my list I shall be backing tomoz which I shall post but it's not at Goodwood and another on Saturday for Goodwood but as always they come with a wealth warning  Wink

How are things with you?  Job/Poker?

Sorry only just seen this.

Not too bad, pretty horrible last couple of life days but w/e, my friend Mel is gonna take me to Southend for there monthly £100 on Wednesday, but after reading some of your comments and the Hendon mob one I'm not so sure now? :/

Don't wanna go all that way if I'm gonna just get barred due to weirdos colluding etc?

Any advice appreciated, take care and enjoy your golf day x

The monthly £100 is the only comp I would ever play as it's 5k gtd with 40 players and always makes it, defo go down to play it IMO and the collusion is not that bad.

Jus dont freak out at the 2005 style bet sizings  Wink and when you make the final you will be the only player not wanting a 6 way chop.

Might see you there if I get a pass out....

Sorry Dreenie
I got in from golf a bit late and after bathing the wee ones I could not secure an evening pass out  Sad one of the Luton boys said you were out early, obv saving it for next weeks GPS!

Golf Day

Ok as you were aware I was invited to join a pretty exclusive 4 ball yesterday with Dubai, Demps and the fourth member being James Akenhead but unfortunately I run bad in the drawing of partners and me and Shallow were drawn together which if you have ever seen the Crab play poker we were either going to be shaking hands with the boys on the 10th or going to be in for a few £££
Here we are throwing the balls up for pairs and as you can see from the other photo's we were under it from the first tee as Dubai was already on the Bulmers and by the 5th it had changed to Guinness  Sad

I played pretty tez myself so was on the Bulmers by the 10th as we had let a 2hole lead slip and I was into one of the James's for £75 although next time the handicap committee will need a review with Demps declaring 18 and shooting 2over on the back and Ake's (yes even I have friends like Claypole now Wink ) off 11 but should be 7.

On the 15th we had already shaken hands on the match and I had knocked one to about 6ft when I recorded Demps do this having told us the shot he was going to play

No word of a lie this is where the balls ended up and you can see the quality of the game by seeing Ake's chip on.

What a Week!

We are absolutely under it at work and there are definite signs of a mini boom down here again with fresh houses to the market getting multiple buyers on them. Below is an example where this property came on the market last week and is in a desirable road with estuary views but the owner who has lived in it for 50 years has not extended or improved it for many years and if you spent £150k on it with a side and rear extension making it 5 beds then it would be worth mid to late 700's.

15 viewings later and an asking price of offers in excess of £500k and we are in receipt of 4 offers and have gone to sealed bids to decide who will get it, it would have been a perfect house for us as a family but has come 1 year too soon although I have to admit to doing some big number crunching to see if we would have a way of financing it.

This is just one example of how the south east is still booming but imo it is mainly supply and demand in this area driving the prices as even some of the houses that have been on the market for 2 years have sold in the past couple of weeks.

Good to hear things are flying mate!

My old man is back in the mortgage game now, and is in exactly the same boat at the moment. I think he loves it though, all these hours on the road give him some peace and quiet Grin
