Sooooo much to come back to but for now I continue to spin a tangled web..

Made day2 of DTD with 106000 and travelled up not really expecting much knowing that the last train back was 9pm and not being balla enough like Dubai if I bust to get a taxi back I had to grind from 8.30 but managed a full dbl in the last 30muns when getting Dem Aces in the co and the BB shipping 35bbs aipf w 22 and we did a hold!

Then booked 2hotel rooms one for me and one for Willie Tann and in further run good actually got the cash and he paid for the taxi.

Sure it must be a long con/nip style thing Wink

Got dece %'s in Zero and Marris as well so hope to get a sweat...

Will defo come back and update what has been an interesting few weeks in next 24/48 hours where the cliffs are

Fell out with my brother and this time it looks terminal which is quite sad!
UKIPT and my first cross atlantic golf double landed
Slovakia trip and one business
GPS Sheff/DTD - value in poker and my donation to the Omaha community for 2013 (obv not combined )
The second business venture...

Not been available to post much over Chrimbo for a variety of reasons but need to start here before moving on.

I had a massive fallout with my brother over a property and some other business dealings we had whilst Petra was away and we are now no longer speaking and god knows what came over him that day but the vitriol he came out with just meant it was better for us to just step a way and when the tenancy expires in August we can just sell this and then we no longer have any shared properties and Petra and myself can do our own thing regarding property development from the end of 2014.

What make it sad is that this was one of the properties that when my Dad was still alive we were looking into and property was one of the things my Dad felt would keep us still in a good relationship as he harbours many a grudge from my distant past and as we live many miles away from each other Dad felt we would just drift apart when he had passed just sending Christmas and Birthday cards.  Now not even that will happen Sad

UKIPT and big Golf Double
I picked up Pads from Luton airport on the way up and it was another semi deep run where I built a stack lost some towards the end of the day and hung in there to make day 2 but then got unlucky to get lucky BVB  with KQ v K6 on K763Q to double and some before losing it all back to the same player  when QQ lost to 88 as she binked the turn which ultimately cost us a cash as at that point with 10 away from the money we would have had 3/4 avg on the bubble but I landed my first ever big golf double having had 2 bets prior to leaving for DTD with £40 EW single on Rory Mclroy at 13/2 enhanced and 2x doubles Rory/Schwartzel and Scott/Schwartzel £30 and £40 respectively so going into the last round Rory was 4 behind Scott but the EW money was safe and Schwartz was a couple clear going into his last round.

Needless to say I was so happy to check the golf leaderboard and find the NI flag in 1st Pos with him overcoming a 4 shot deficit in the final round so just needed Schwartzel to hold which he did for a nigh on £1500 return which offset the UKIPT disappointment.

SLOVAKIA
2 Days after returning from Nottingham and having shaved this beauty off

I headed out to Slovakia via Brno in the Czech Republic to spend a few days with Petra's folks before we all came back together and having not seen them for 1month it was great although the first thing Petra's mum said as I walked in was "wow Rich put on some weight" marv!
We had a few chilled days and checked out some premises for a business venture we are looking to start in the first quarter 2014 where we will be exporting decent quality second hand children's clothing and toys and selling them in a second hand shop over there with her mum working the shop for us.  Each month we will export 1 load of goods over with an average resale per unit of 3.5 - 5 euro and on the market research we have done already we will sell anything between 500-1000 units per month.

We only need one member of Staff as well and just showing how backward the mentality is over there still shops in towns still tend to shut for 2 hours at lunchtime and you never miss any trade as everyone knows they wont be open so the shop will be open from 9-12 and 2-5 5xdays per week plus a few hours on a Saturday and the average wage over there is 2.5euro per hour which sound ridiculous but if 2 people earn that and work 40 hours per week they live/eat and drink really well.

Some work to do on this yet but it looks a goer...

GPS Sheffield
Arrived back in the UK and then waited until the day before GPS to tell Petra that I was off for a couple of days to Sheffield which went down well (not sure why I never have the Niagara's to tell her earlier suppose its that I only get flack for 24hours before leaving) and headed ooop north where I played some decent poker and some of my worst poker of the past few months (worst mainly in 2 spots on the live table Sad ) but managed to make day2 with a decent stack before missing out again 15 or so places from the ££ when AK couldn't hold vs K10 so as there was a decent event on at Dusk decided to head down the M1 and play the Super £50 w 2 reloads and managed to build a stack cruising into the last 50 or so before losing w "the Beltons" vs 1010 for a double average pot on a 10 high board but this tournament which for most was a £150 tournament showed me that even for someone like me there is still an immense amount of value in poker with people 4b calling off 93o etc.

Whilst on the table of my exit I met a guy whose name I have unfortunately forgotten but if you are reading  and thank you for the kind words on the table about me and my story, I hope you got the lot that night!! but having donked off I was bum hunted by Chinese Francis and GHolden in a 50/1 omahahaha game where I gave a donation akin to giving to charity and treated it as such before heading down the M1 home.

Second Business venture
I may have mentioned this to a few but I am starting at the end of January a small business which I hope to build up but wont be a massive earner just more likely to be able to run a decent motor for Petra and a motor for the Slovak business as well on it where we are setting up a Leaflet Distribution business and as last year I tried to get companies to drop 15000 leaflets per month and would have used them every month of the year but none wanted my business (out of 5 companies contacted 3 never came back to me and 2 couldn't handle it) so I am on the look out for droppers and one of the companies we will drop for is the Estate agents where I currently work.

I never ever get companies approach me saying look we are x company and would think you as an estate agents use a direct marketing company so as we are dropping your area next month wondered if we could be of assistance but I plan to approach other companies who use this kind of service and tag them onto the drop with my droppers dropping no more than 3-4 leaflets at a time and us charging out at £25-£35 per 1000 leaflets per company  so should average £100 per 1000 leaflets and the droppers will get roughly £50 per 1000 and if they work 6hours per day can drop 1500 per day or it would suit mums who can drop 4 hours per day during school hours and earn a bit of pin money.

I have to say I am quite looking forward to approaching the companies and as my own firm of E/Agents will be a primary user think it will add some  weight to other companies non agency related to use us also, (Need to work on a name so any suggestions please holla) along with the fact I plan to use GPS tracking so companies can actually see where/when we are delivering and some branded uniforms etc

Finally after this TL;DR I am going to be doing some severe fitness drive in the new year as I currently feel the unhealthiest I have ever been, so if anyone fancies joining or doing some kind of prop then lmk

(It is not Cos in the background!)

Any Nando's lovers (Vinny) should read page 27 of the sun today, unfortunately I couldnt find the link but this kinda sums it up

http://www.timeout.com/london/food-drink/the-shadowy-world-of-the-nandos-high-five-card

http://www.theguardian.com/travel/2013/oct/23/ten-unusual-travel-challenges-around-world

A link for Vinny to like...

https://en-gb.facebook.com/NandosChallenge

Basically this guy saw a wikipedia link that said if you ate at 85 Nando's branches then you gained a free food pass but the link was 2 years out of date (in before "like the food") so they will not give him the pass but as a gesture have said if he eats at the other 195 UK branches plus the total number of 915 branches then they will honour the prize.

Which Blonde could honestly say they have eaten at the most Nando's?

Ha, of course. The chinaman pulled that con off last night.

Forgot Brighton.

Does Southend have one? I can't remember if I've been or not.
