Nicholas Humphris €30,000
approx chip count 1.1m
Tommy Bingham €27,900
Approx chip count 1.9m
LOL
Nicholas had 2.1m not 1.1m
nope chip counts are right!
i was told by one of the players that the 2 chip leaders had agreed 30k each. but some of the other players wanted more than the 10.7k that they were going to get, so to make the deal happen Tommy "gave" some of his winnings to them.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Oh well. Well done to Nic for a great deal. Disappointed for the shorties tho. Would have liked Ian to have given it a shot with 15k locked up

What I meant was that one of the Golden Chippers didn't need to get busy too early. There were 2 v big stacks and 3 stacks much shorter than him at the time (just after they went down to 8 ) and was still a fair bit of play in it for him. I agree that the short Golden Chipper had nothing to lose, but Ian could afford to carry on playing his game. Him forcing the dynamic at that point with 3 much shorter stacks would have been a classic mistake imo.
