Pretty inevitable the way things have been developing over the last couple of weeks.  There's some weird rule in the new CBA that prevents the Colts from watching him throw until April, and his option bonus was due on 28th March.  Also, Andrew Luck performed the drills at the combine on a par with Cam Newton last year, making him even more of a nailed on No 1 pick, despite what RG3 did there.

There was no way the Colts were going to risk $28m on a player who may not play again, so he'll hit the free agent market.  Now it'll be interesting to see who goes for him in Free Agency.

team widely thought to be interested/should be interested

Miami
Washington
Arizona
Seattle
Jets

I think Miami might be the favourite, they are a little too low in the draft to get RG3 without trading away a lot of draft picks

Anyone agree with me, Jones seems to think i'm mad.

If colts get #1 pick, Manning will not be with them next season, even if he's 100% fit

Washington rule themselves out

Am told Jeff Ireland the Miami GM spoke to Manning today for 20 minutes

Firm favourites, and a back to lay in September at this point (tough division, defence transition to make)

Haven't been following this at all, but isn't 25/1 the Titans a big price?

I know Jake Locker looked good at times last year, but wouldn't the fans demand the franchise go after Peyton Manning?

the issue here is the owners don't have a record of splashing out for top end free agents. Conservative guys, and not an agitated fan base, ever

This leads the Titans to generally be quite blue collar teams, consistently ok but never much star quality (Steve McNair and one Chris Johnson year apart). They do draft well.

houston at 14-1 is intriguing. Depends on Schaub I expect, and their view on his recovery..

Denver 25-1 Get on, I am told.

Elway wants him desperately. He has a problem in that he doesn't want Tebow too long (limited skills, though a winner), yet the fans love him. Getting Manning solves that
