do people pay money to enter these?

no one gets knocked out?  rigged decks? [  ] sign me up

surely the strategy is just to move all in every hand then?

Reading comprehension fail.

No one gets knocked out of a duplicate poker tournament.

where does it say that?

Stacks reset at the start of every hand - overall winner determined by number of points.

If it is like this, it would be a nice quick tourney then. Each hand, resetting a deck, reset the chips and work out the points. Wouldn't this work out better on a PHA forum board with a quizmaster?

Wouldn't they just have a set of decks ready made, and a couple of sets of chips so they can play while they're being sorted?

I really wish people would leave poker as it is, every six months someone comes out with a 'version of poker without the luck factor' - that's like a version of porn without boobs. Everything that makes poker popular, fun, and profitable is because of the luck element. I know people think they are helping the game by putting emphasis on the skill element, but taking the variance out of poker would kill the game 20 times quicker than the global media referring to it as a Ponzi scheme.

How many points do you get if you go all-in and the dealer takes your cards accidentally Smiley or if the dealer deals the flop too quick does every game have to be reset? wowzer!

If decks are preset, how secure can this possibly be?

Did Annie Duke recommend this?

what if the table next to you gets a showdown and you see what player wins? if cards are same you can see who will win then make move. Tables will have to be in different rooms.

sounds like  a shit idea live.

Probably why they're putting each table in a different bubble on the London Eye.
