i remember a 50 nl player won 30k in a stars tourney (super turbo or something )
then decided to play hs nl and lost it all within 2 weeks

Isn't it a bit easy to check whether a disproportionate amount of his losses were to the same people? And whether there's any link between them?

I don't think he dumped it. It was all classic degen, especially dipping to $300 then $30 then $15 games after he did it all in.

However he did drop $95k of it to one guy, but checking him out he is some sort of HUSNG reg. Interestingly he's only $75k up lifetime. Must have been his lucky day!

He lost it to SNG regs at 5k- hard to imagine a scenario where a Russian $3 player knows NON Russian $5k hu sng players to dump to
