Yuh, will start a new thread on Monday. Will C&P the result daily. Luton thread peaked in summer '09 and interest has steadily dropped off since then but the hardcore remain.

Unless, of course, eight lists suddenly appear here today. Will give it one more ramp now to some likely suspects, plus you, Lucky, Johnson, Donks. Celtic and Nirvana were supposed to be putting lists in too.

TBF, and naming no names, some people like chompy went too far with the choppin and gerrymanderin, so who can trust these results anyways ? Certainly cant put money into a clear fixup for Chompy's cat food fund.

 Smiley

Had been planning to put the moneyz into a Betfair account. I've got a system for betting on the footy. Can't see it failing tbf.

A few suggestions from me:

1. Lower the entry to £20, from £50 (which I think is possibly prohibative).
2. Allow any number of players to be selected for the £15m total (rather than restrict it to 5). Maybe lower to £10m in light of this? (for admin reasons).
3. Let's try and keep the thread nice and friendly and fun (how it used to be) without the pissing contests, rather than slagging off or slating people (which can put - or piss - people off, and kills the contributions).
4. Re-Launch from mid-Jan if enuff interest.

Just my foughts for yoooz lot and Sweaty Terry to consider.

Hope you all have a lovely New Years Eve. ttfn.

All solid ideas Drainy but, if there's no interest, there's no interest imo.

Thought that was why it used to be a good thread myself...

Celtic list imminent, which means 14 total. £500 to the winner, £200 to second. Let battle commence...

Tytytyty.

Just for continuation purposes, and so things roll seamlessly from the old thread to the new, here's the top of the 2011 league table:

Name          Last 5   Played Won  2nd  3rd  Other  Pts    Score
Chompy        61111    43     4    1    2    5      140    3.25
JoshMatrix    58522    50     3    2    0    12     159    3.18
SirDonksalot  67127    53     4    2    5    4      168    3.17
Tightend      12523    17     1    2    1    1      54     3.17
G-Rodge       24271    76     4    2    1    20     239    3.15

Unfortunately only two names get engraved on the shield, that off the winner (that's me ta) and the runner-up (Josh Matrix).

Please leave the trophy at the G at your convenience spangles, I'll pick it up in due course.

It was a close-run thing but I have to say it was the right one-two in the end. All played out fairly and the flotsam/jetsam sunk towards the finish as yours truly went on an incred win spree (no deals done).

So there you have it...the last EVER phuqqin Luton league champion...meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I'd like to thank a few people. Tighty for running the show, Sir Donksalot for not playing well enough to retain his crown, USADennis for not playing his A-game on Christmas Eve and letting me record the win needed for victory. Thank you all, I love you.
