Fraser Bellamy rivers the nut flush against Sam MacDonald to double up, send MacDonald under 40,000 and himself over 120,000
He flopped the NFD with
, having been the pre-flop raiser
Not a bad couple of levels for two Monte Carlo Champions

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Nick Hicks knocks out Nathan Watson, Watson shoved KJhh into Aces
Anthony Nicholls is an a great vein of form, knocking out three players most latterly Asif Raja, when Raja shipped 77 over an UTG raise, with Kings
Scott Shelley knocks out Andrew Murphy, UTG raise 6-6, shove A-10ss, automatic call for the extra
All this on the Alex Goulder table over the alst orbit

15 minutes to go and we've lost one player in the last 20 minutes, Mark English
Not for the Monte Carlo the mad rush of stacks going in in the last level to double up or go home, this is rather more prosaic stuff. 3 bet folds, not many flops, and in this structure no blind pressure at the end of Day One

Terry Fletcher raises, Lars Torngren calls
flop
Torngren shoved with
and Fletcher called with
As.
Torngren couldn't watch, but managed to dodge the seven remaining diamonds eliminating Fletcher.
