Today's press ups went:

11-11-11-11-11-29ish

I did get the final set filmed, it is filmed from a terrible angle it doesn't look like I'm getting very low. Only reason I am posting it is because FUN4FRASER was doing the camerawork and I thought it was funny how poor a job he did of it:

I have not done anything since day 1!....and I may just have to pull out....
I have to work being self employed
And my back is giving me a load of shit still !

I will try tonight if it's too difficult (for the back) I will have to give up !

Barry, watch your video again, at the very beginning you get into the correct starting position then before you do your first press up your whole body slumps towards the mat. It sounds ghey but you need to tighten your ass and stomach and keep it like that so your whole body is like a straight plank which pivots from the feet.

11-11-11-11-11-29ish is pretty incred though.

12-9-9-7-7-pretty much 0 is where I am at, also I often have to increase my breaks to like 2 mins or go to my knees. Waiting til I get 25 perfect form off the bat then will post my next vid.

I think where you might be going wrong is in the clothing department, maybe a pair of shorts and also taking off the T shirt might help.

Barry. Try holding the starting position for as long as you can. That'll help to strengthen your core so that you can maintain the straight position throughout the full movement.

If you build in 4 sets of planks for 1 to 2 minutes per set it'll really help.

ok, so the first couple of seconds where my ass is a bit higher is the superior position? As I mentioned about a week back, my groin is hitting the floor (giggity) sometimes, but looking at Matt's video that seems to be where I'm falling short.

Did half hour sesh with PT today followed by 20mins very slow walk on treadmill. Another light session tomorrow then Friday having physio on my calfs before an hour session with PT. resting on Saturday before the 10k on Sunday. #spiritsarehigh #hopemychocolatecalfholdsup #stretch

Just completed the Leeds 10k. Morale is sky high ATM.

Was touch and go as i set the wrong alarm and didn't get out of bed till 8:10am with race starting at 9am.

Glad I did it though and was very uplifting but gutted I didn't sort summet for charity Sad may donate myself if anyone wants to chip owt in let me know xx

Got round unoffically in 1hr 24:13 and my chocolate calfs held up.

Sigh Paul backed out sure there was a £100 prop Huh?

Lets kick on now and get to sub 20st by December.
