The reason I have has the odd lapse is because of the long Term I refuse to just eat good for you food
And no treats
The long term is after the 12 weeks for the next 12 weeks staying at that weight
Then I'll get used to staying at that weight

Small short term stepping stone goals are equally important mate, especially after recent failures.

Too make the target of having a position to maintain for 12 weeks you're gonna have to get into a good routine though mate and not use poor excuses like 'I was up and down the stairs so had an appetite' to justify to yourself why you're eating shit.

I work from home so know only too well the temptations that arise, you can't just snack away and then say it's alright that's a treat. Before you know it you will be having a couple treats a day, then a cheat meal every couple days and then back to your old routine.

I was eating what I liked at weekends after doing 5 days a week strict, that wasn't working and I was sticking too much garbage down over the weekend so now I'm going back to a  few sweets or some biscuits on a Saturday whilst having healthy meals. On Sunday I will have a takeaway of some sort and some chocolate or ice cream etc.

You can have cheat meals without them being cheats, chicken shish (no chips) Mixed Grill with salad from the indian etc.

You don't have to have no treats and just good food, saying that is why you're doing what you have this week isn't really an argument that carries any weight. You can eat with nice food and still eat healthily, it's just a case of being smart in your choices.

I seriously need to sort something out here!!

Been ridiculously lazy all day. I've done nothing except watch TV, post on Blonde then walk the dog.

I managed poached eggs on toast at about 11am and a flapjack since but that's all the food I've had even though I'm sat here starving!! So so bad!!!

I'm going to force my lazy twat self off the sofa now to make a humungous curry to try to get my calories for the day at least somewhere reasonable.

At least if I eat now I can have something late as well and perhaps salvage something out of the weekend.

Tbh all this advice is all well and good, but it's nothing any of us don't know.

It's having the fucking will power to stick with a good routine that is a problem. It's a weird one because I was having no issues until last week and thought it was going to be a piece of piss tbh. Now I just need to focus on what I'm going to do this week to achieve this weeks goal.

Also I went out last night and got absolutely smashed. This ended up at 4am or somewhere round there with a quarter pounder, 2 cheeseburgers, 10 nuggets, large fries and a kebab.

Not bad for calories but obviously horrific for the waist line!!

Need to get a grip very soon!!

On the plus side I've now got a new training partner which will hopefully help push that forward again.

Skipping gate update: My skipping rope is 8.5ft, they go upto 11ft for a 1 person skipping rope and also the rope is supposed to hit the floor in front of you which is how you time your jumps, obv this was not happening for me. Ordering a new one now. Missus recorded me on her phone, so when i get good at it I will do a before and after type thing. Skipping is the nuts!

I'm the king of it and have been up and down more times than Britney's knickers on the scales Smiley

You can eat what feel like cheat meals without cheating you just have to be smart, if you're going on the piss then don't worry about it the next day you can get back on track and work it off in the gym.

The trouble is by cutting the majority of things out it's creating a situation where you're all trying so hard to steer clear of everything that it leads to a massive relapse which spirals out of control.

Planning can make things so much easier, if you just set things in stone before the event you'll have no need to veer off course and then you don't have to feel guilty about having a curry, chinese or a kebab at the weekend.

If you're gonna drink then go with Gin or Vodka and Tonic/Diet Coke as they only have about 70cals a drink. I also find that I get less of a hangover on those when I do drink, the problem is when I decide to hop on the Jaegerbus around 10 drinks in and all hell breaks loose Cheesy

Stir fries are my best friend, it feels like I'm having a chinese takeaway most nights of the week and the only thing I'm missing is fillet steak cantonese style. I eat fillet steak and chips most weeks, alright the chips are sweet potato wedges baked in the over but it's better than eating a boring old fking salad. Big bowl of chilli regularly as well with a bit of boiled rice or a pitta, whichever I prefer.

I know it's easier for me to say as a housebound raspberry with no wife or kids but I don't like spending too much time out of my armchair in the office so time management is key  Tongue
