The top four in the rankings this week 11 years ago were Kuerten, Safin, Sampras and Magnus Norman (?).
Murray unfortunate to be born in Scotland.

Murray will win a slam in a couple of years time but its just so hard to compete with Nadal and Djokovic mentally. Not going to overly criticise Federer because hes won a million grand slams and is playing great tennis still but even he has found it almost impossible to get over the line versus these two in 5 set matches when it really matters for the last couple of years.
They both just seem to be such unbelievable winners.
Feel sorry for Murray. Hes so close but so far away. Even at 15-40 5-5 today on Nole's serve you never truly believed Andy could do it. Even if he broke you felt like he would just be broken back. Poor lad.

Don't feel too sorry for him, he still has Kim (even though she's no Jelena of course).

BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, CMON!!! PS Sorry for turning your diary into Murray rail Solaris I really, really don't mind. Thought when I started this it'd get no replies and I'd be told to gtfo so quietly happy! As good as Murray is, Djokovic is on another level mentally. His ability to get himself over the line in those sort of matches is astonishing. Fantastic effort from the pair of them. It's been mentioned, but how unlucky is Murray? I firmly believe Djokovic will be thought of as one of the greats by the time he retires so Murray's had to in effect contend with quite possibly 3 of the very best. Very unfortunate. Djokovic to win 3-0 @ 2/1 (3 units) LOST - 3 units Klizan @ 23/20 LOST - 1 unit Meffert @ 5/4 WON + 1.25 units Bemelmans @ 11/10 (2 units) WON + 2.20 units -0.55 atm Adding: In-play: Stebe @ 11/10 v Berrer *0-0 30-40 (3 units)

Be surprised if Soeda can't beat Sock, we'll see... Thoughts on the women's final Horneris? Can't see past Azarenka myself. Going to look at a bunch of markets for it, but will most likely back Azarenka, even at around 1.7. Think she should be nearer the 4/7 mark personally.

Shes nice, but Nadal and Djokovic have still got him covered there! Pfffft having any bird following him around on tour at his age as a famous sportsman is a beat, he should be out there shagging for England scotland Get a bird when your 30+ imo.

Haven't watched a huge amount of the women's tournament, but must admit I'm surprised Azarenka is as big as 3/4. Thought she'd be around 8/13 or 4/7. GL
