Imagine this has been covered elsewhere in the thread..................but if I want to take $30k to Vegas what is the best way of doing it? I can take $10k in as cash, but any more than that and the customs chaps get unhappy apparently.
Barclays seem hell bent on charging me a 3% transaction fee every time I use my card in Vegas so that would cost me $600 over the trip, so can I wire money direct to the Wynn? If so how much does this cost and how do I go about it? Once the money is there can I just march up to the cashier and take out whatever cash I want?
Apologies if this has already been covered.
Cheers!

They'll only get funny if you take $30k, but declare under $10k on the form, and they find out.
If you're happy enough carrying $30k, that's fine. Just declare it and you won't have a problem.
I've not got a USD account, but loads of Blonde have, and one of them will be able to steer you right.

Yea easiest way is carry it as cash and declare it on the form. What is less well known is that you are meant to declare it to a UK customs official on departure too. I did have a small problem once at the UK end with it. And assuming you leave Vegas with $10k+... declare again. It amounts to ticking a box on a form and then that's it.

Never been but looking at the Seat Plans for the airplanes involved, I cant see why not. Most have AC Power and the flight from Toronto - Vegas apparently also has wifi.

I have flown Air Canada before and was impressed. Even in economy plenty of leg room, good entertainment system, edible food etc. This was on their flagship route though Toronto to London.

I don't know how to search for cheap flights. It asks me to be specific.
Which day do I want to leave?
Which day do I want to return?
Which airport do I want to fly from / to etc..
I want to go to Texas for about a month, flying out on the cheapest day into the cheapest airport.
How do I enter that information?
Sorry for the Hijack.

Oh yes, of course - the alias is a clue. Yikes, I'm so dumb these days.
You'll enjoy playing a WSOP jobbie or two, they are really different gravy as to atmo & buzz.

You are going to have to play around with the dates Tom. Pick when you want to go and then change a day each time until you find a price you like.
For the trip I booked this time I am going for 9 nights as it was cheaper then 7 nights. I had already done the time consuming searches pre sale so I knew what the cheapest dates would be.
