Any idea of your allowed to go to other casino swimming pools etc?

Taking the mrs out there this year and she is keen on having a few days around the pool to chill etc.... Would be nice to go to some nice pool areas?

Also is it best to book shows online before going or buying when out there?!

Think you might be able to use other Caesars pools, if you're staying at one of their properties, but not 100%.

I've always just gotten tickets when I'm there, as I don't want to be lumbered with tickets for stuff, and then plans change etc.

I'd recommend booking a hotel with a good pool, as I wouldn't want the aggravation of going to other resorts to use the pool.

Have booked Tropicana and see they have recently refurbed there pool area and looks pretty decent....Just would be nice to venture elsewhere etc.

Usually have to flash a room keycard to get access to their pools....

Agree with tickets/shows, keep your options open and buy there unless you see a bargain you don't want to miss out on.

They now check your room key for admission at the rio with a door lock !
So an old key wouldn't work !
at the nugget you just flash the key so any old one would do  ,you can buy a day pass I believe to most for a fee of ???idk
The downtown grand allowed anybody access last September
We are going Monday and have already booked tickets for Celine Dion next Saturday on the official website 3 of us $480
I've previously booked with concierges at aria and nugget and rio with a day or 2 or less to shows ,depends how popular they are and wether you want to risk a not so good seat

Easter sale!!

Only took a cursory glance as I am already booked, but looks like £750 cash fare or buy/use miles to get 40k miles for reward flight.

Only open for a few days.

Thanks! I had put off booking and was waiting for someone in this thread to inform me when the sale was on!

I just got a premium economy flight for 1150 or so.   You couldn't be too fussy on dates to get that price though.  There seems to be a lot of availability of reward flights from the last week in June, but they were too late to get there for the 1500 plo8.

When are you heading out, Doobs?

I don't get out until the 18th, but likely to be splitting my trip this year, and moving to Aria/Vdara after July 4th.

20th to 28th June.  Going for the 1500 PLO8, but might play the 1500 PLO too.   Likely to just stay at the Wynn throughout.  Getting quoted just over 150 dollars a night, which is a lot less than they were asking last year.

Missing the whole of Royal Ascot, but my accounts have pretty much all gone anyway.

Hopefully you can final up, so I can venture up for a rail. I'll still be slumming it in the Rush Tower then.

I take missing Ascot as a positive Cheesy

Hope I can final somewhere too, though if it is anything like last year I am not making dinner on the first day.

I booked the Encore throughout.  It is a lot cheaper this year than last.  When I looked at Trivago, I was getting quoted £150+ at Vdara, Aria etc and even £100+ a night at the Rio too.  The Wynn/Encore was only about £125 after the 25% online discount vs £150+ for the cheapest rates on Trivago.   Really looking forward to it.

Sounds like my last few years, or rather mine were make the last hour of day 1 Cheesy

I'm clucking to get out there, too. Haven't stayed a night on the strip since 2011, so looking forward to having a mooch around up there.

I'm waiting for myVegas to release their summer promos next month, and then I should be able to get 9/10 days at Vdara nice and cheap.

Currently at the flamingo which has been a good choice position wise for navigating the strip as a tourist which is what this week was about
At home my mate said with the election announcement the dollar to £ rate had gone to 1.28
Over here I asked at 3 cages
South point 1.21
Caesars 1.18
Flamingo 1.09
Budweiser bottle
South point $5
Nugget $5
Flamingo $9
Caesars $9.25
By the flamingo pool a mojito n a water albeit Fiji water !$ 23

At omnia night club in Caesars last night was the biggest q I've ever seen snaking around everywhere in the casino
According to a dealer at Caesars a bottle n a booth in there is $2500 !! Once it arrives a bunch of fit chicks pop up n drink it n chat you up to buy more -all paid by the club apparently to entice you to spend more !
The strip is as busy as ever floods of people every day -personally I hate it
Staying off strip is obv cheaper but factor in transport costs !
It's also full of dickheads called Todd from Idaho n Scott from Oregon who have very loud nasally voices and just invite a fking good punching !
Their mothers have just taken them off breast milk n let them graduate to Budweiser n cocktails in ridiculous shaped vessels for their weekend away everything's AWESOME to them as they proceed to tell you in loud voices

But to Vegas n we love it roll on June
