Tried a few new things this year.

Highlights that might work for you if you want value:

1. If you're playing at the Rio and up early enough, go to the Palms for their breakfast buffet. Half the price you'll pay on the Strip with half the queues and better than most bar the A-List hotels
2. Similarly, if you fancy a very good steak meal with a decent bottle of red, try the Cornerstone at the Gold Coast (no shit!). $80 per head gets you the works. Again, you're getting so much more for your money, and it's a 5 minute walk to the new central bar at the Palms where you can marvel at Damien Hurst's formaldehyde shark whilst sipping a cocktail - and then a <$10 Uber back to the Strip

Landed and just got to room in the hotel, staying at MGM for 1 night before I move over to The Palazzo. Like a kid at xmas, gonna get all the boring stuff out of the way for the next few hours. No doubt I’ll be asking a few questions.

Palazzo is the nuts. Try for an end-of-corridor room.

Grand Lux so so good too. Ginger beef incred.

Wont have the Caramel Chicken dissed

First touch of the trip, checking out of MGM which I have stayed 1 night in, told them about the shower being cold and tv kept saying no signal and although I didn’t ask for it she refunded the $42 resort fee. Such different service to UK, I remember have a similar thing happen at the W in London and they wouldn’t do anything for us!

I need to get Marvel Avengers toy and Batman hoodie or toy, any ideas were I can go? I know they have the marvel avengers experience with a shop inside a) can I access the shop without doing the experience b) I can imagine their prices are heavily inflated so would rather shop elsewhere.

I suppose if all else fails I could order from amazon and pretend I had them delivered from America, to the kids obvs not the wife.

Thanks for the suggestions. Done to much walking, Amazon is a good fall back and cheaper than buying here.

If you win Lammers is there a reason why you should discount them to sell them or do people generally pay face value?

Thanks Simon, I noticed people doing both. Obvs depended on who was selling.

I’ve come back home with terrible bruises at the bottom of my back and thighs, they don’t actually hurt like a bruise but does look like I have taken a beaten. Could this be from the long flight? Has anyone else experienced this?
