Marky.....depending on how Asia goes may do a month, any decent codes about, wouldn't mind Palms as some of the boys are there. Thinking 16/6 to 14/7. Ty hero

Probably the lame-ist question you have had on this thread...
'I am going for 6 days as of Friday 26th April, just wondered what i should pack? is it too cold in poker rooms and should i pack plenty of jeans? i'm hoping it will be hot so i will be busting out the shorts when not playing poker'
Just an idea of what to take would be great
I just got back from Vegas and wore t-shirt and shorts all week. Personally I love the cooler casinos compared to outside but I don't feel the cold.
My second trip since T3 opened and it is defo slower than T2, Took bloody ages for the luggage to come through, taxis at T3 were a joke, had to wait at least 45 mins.
Cabbies defo got worse on the long haul attempts. tried hard not to laugh at the cabbie trying to explain that it was cheaper to take the tunnel

I'm getting one of these on the go this year, won't work out a whole lost more expensive than a cab, and we can throw a stop in at a liquor store too.

first time we went, we were the last off the plane as a bunch of utter amateurs, there was a big stretch limo 4x4 waiting for someone that hadn't made the flight, that was comfy and well air conditioned.
although the 35 yard stroll to it nearly killed me. fking desert!!
imo town cars are the way forward.

Simon pinged the codes up, but I'm sure you want Palms Place and not Palms.
Make sure you get it booked up, and I'll see you out there

I'm always last off the plane, but I don't have to queue at immigration which is golden. If there was a big queue for cabs I'd have 100% dived in the limo, it is only pennies when you're arriving with a full bankroll after all
I tend not to go outside much in Vegas, my skin isn't conducive to tanning and I prefer to only go out at night when the heat is a little less ridiculous!
Last year my cab to the Nugget was about $40 due to some traffic, so I may as well get someone who actually pretends to be happy about working for a couple $$ more.

looking at some of these voucher codes, but they don't seem much cheaper, if at all than hotels.com? and they have a loyalty scheme which is effectively 9% off.

Most of the voucher codes are very near end of life. In other words, we are overdue a batch of new codes soon.
There are unlimited 3rd party (expedia/orbitz/etc) sites and everyone is free to comb through as many of them as they like. Occasionally, one of them will be nicely ool with the rest and a real bargain can be had.
My general suggestion would be:
1) Use the voucher code to give you a benchmark price to try and beat
2) Surf through as many of the 3rd party sites as you like
3) Take the best price. Make sure you are comparing like with like. 3rd party sites generally say "including fees" but that doesn't actually include resort fees. Further, many 3rd party sites require full payment up front (rather than 1st night deposit only) and give you no flexibility to change hotels/dates/cancel/get comps applied.
After all of that, find a price you like and snap it up.

Just had a thought, When booking my seats online 90 days before the flight, do I need passport numbers or can I just log in and book us in?

I know that with Virgin you can normally select your seats just by logging in and picking them out.
That said, you'll still need to fill out all the APIS stuff on the site too at some point I would think.
