Literally cannot wait.

@Sweetman, please organise your permission slip, as this will be epic.

2011 was funny, I remember getting to the Palazzo when it was on, and all the birds walking around in bikinis covered in illuminous paint... MDMA sales were definitely sky high that weekend!

Ty for the shout out Trig and wd on the mc.  I know Marky shares the same view as I do on booking Vegas ~ 2* is right for some, 5* is right for others, no right or wrong, but regardless of whether you are doing 1st Class and Encore Suite or indirect and IP, you may as well pay the minimum possible to do it.

Cheers Trigg, but it is exactly as Simon said... I like to make sure everyone has as much ammo for spraying around when they get to Vegas, and hate seeing people get scalped on the flights/hotels etc.

Congrats, and best of luck with the summer spin up!

Marky, Simon G, question for you......

This is a bit broad, but.......

I was with Mad Turk today, & he wants to go to Vegas, & does not have a clue where to start as to flights, Hotel rates, booking, anything.

I mentioned this thread, & you two, & he asked me to post the question for him.

I am going to give him a link to the thread later tonight, & he'll eventually find his way here.

Can you guide him through where to start, etc, please?

This http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=56335.0 should help, but once he has had a look at that (first post) we can go from there Smiley

That is actually ridiculous. Explains why it is so expensive!

Great spot on the DTD link. Took me a while to get that!

I'm there that weekend but the wife says I'm to old so it'll have to be the $400 deepstack at the Venetian instead!

Aria got a smaller series too - http://www.arialasvegas.com/sites/default/files/documents/ARIA_0868_ClasPker_PSFL_c4.pdf

Best curry gaffs in Vegas been mentioned yet? Knowing Mark, probably yes lol.  I've been to a few (obv) The ones that I liked in no particular order. Origin India (near Hard Rock) Tamba (South Strip) & India Oven (Paradise near The LVH) Also heard they got a new one called Royal India or something at The Rio where Gaylord used to be, should be deece!

Main problem with curry out there is "hot" is usually very tame.  If you like really hot, try http://mintbistro.com/menu/inferno-menu/

Oioi, I often recommend Tamba to anyone looking for somewhere on the strip, Maz Nawab actually took me to Tamba the first time, ate there a couple times with him in 2008 and it was always decent. Mint Bistro or something is meant to be pretty good as well, and there are some others that I can't remember at the moment.

I'll have a hunt around over the next few weeks if I get time, and put together some recommendations by cuisine just before everyone starts heading out.

Only a month for the luckier ones until they ship out, whilst some of us have to grind it out at home for another month Sad
