Recently seen a deal on a Facebook page. 10 nights at MGM direct flight from Manchester about £950pp. It is a long time away tho, 31st may 2016 lol is this a good deal or should I keep looking nearer the time? Thanks

Looks decent enough to me.

It's one of those, where it might be right for some, but not for others...

I booked a package deal myself a couple years back, because I thought it was cheaper than I would likely get, and got it right.

Likewise, I've booked one, and gotten it wrong, when Virgin have banged a late sale out Cheesy

Are we expecting Virgin to have their reward seat sale after xmas again? They have a sale on atm apparently ( though you wouldn't know it as the prices are way more than usual)

Looking to go either April or end of May.Can someone remind me of the best way to use miles. I have 87k and mrs has 32k. Will be booking for 4 people

I just went on the virgin site typed my dates in using miles and it gave me a choice
So I'm using 21250 miles each way and paying 224£ for a direct return flight !
If you are using the miles for all 4 passengers ? Probably best to ring up

I did not know that Thomas Cook did a PE, & I doubt it's up to Virgin Atlantic standards, but their Manchester-Vegas flight is, I'm told, very good, reliable & punctual, & arrives in Vegas earlier, around 12.25pm.

I assume you will be out for Mr Russell's birthday celebrations?

No idea, Stu, it's all a bit up in the air at the mo, as per, but not much would make me happier than to be in Vegas this Summer.

I'm midway through setting up a long-term grim of Russell right now, so it could be a bit awkward. I've got him on the hook, just gotta reel him in now. I'm about £7,000 in the hole with him so far, but I'm confident it's a great investment.

Saw Joe Beevers tweet that Virgin had a lot of reward seats available.

Managed to get Premium Economy for £400 and 70k airmiles; normal price is £1200.

If you are def going this year and have some airmiles then take a look

Even if you aren't definitely going, it might still be worthwhile booking.  There are (were Smiley ) some Upper dates available, it is rare to get them this far out and if they happen to be half decent dates, book imo.  £20 or £25 cancellation/alteration fee is an acceptable risk to bear in return for <£600 Upper.

Would imagine (and hope as I am waiting for it) that it will be the rewards seat sale, where you get 25% off the miles needed per flight.

I've read through quite a few posts, after abit of advice.

First visit to Vegas, me and a friend going for 7 days, looking around 2nd or 9th November.

Want to try and keep price to a minimum. Not really worried about having a posh pad, more of a get your head down for a few hours inbetween playing poker (really just want to play as much as possible as that's all we are going for, no sight seeing etc etc)

Found this http://www.expedia.co.uk/Las-Vegas-Hotels-Days-Inn-Las-Vegas-At-Wild-Wild-West-Gambling-Hall.h41280.Hotel-Information?chkin=02%2F11%2F15&chkout=09%2F11%2F15&rm1=a2&hwrqCacheKey=560c645f-5ef1-4690-91b3-7add8d59b1d6HWRQ1419927775745&c=cffad679-b6d9-4ecc-af41-e5eedbc22e93&

Presume you get what you pay for. Anybody have any experience of this establishment? Is it ok for our requirements?

Can get a flight with Virgin for £550 return per person.

Think The Venetian has a deep stack event around this time, is that right?

November? As in next year?

On a map, it looks like it's just off the Strip, but that walk is going to get fairly tiresome if you're heading down the road (your room there to Venetian could be half an hour) and back, and it defeats the object of booking somewhere cheap if you have to get taxis.

For a little bit more, try the Flamingo, which is centre strip but miles cheaper than most. Others on here know more of the ins and outs but that was where I stayed on my first time and it did a great job for what I needed (cheap bed and in the heart of Vegas). Can roll out of bed to some of the softest cash games in town. If you want a beverage or six, the new developments adjoining the hotel have lots of cheap drink bars for the partying sorts.

That side of the road (Harrah's side) is generally cheaper FWIW
