tbh i think you've done very well to fold. I just pay those off lol cos im too tilted to have been outdrawn
it was part of the plan mate... just no way this player ever spazz craises... which means he always has AA.
What hands does he -
Open UTG
Call a SB lead with a competent player behind
Check call a big turn bet from said competent player when HU
Check raise an A river?
To me I think I'd be folding JJ as well.......
Have we been told who the competent player is yet?

ouch.
I did wonder about names and the like... will just leave out in future.. and instead say 'brown donkey' or '40somethingtryingtolook30' or 'molemangenius' or 'davemothafknlhonorebitches'
That works for me.

Officially finished the friday grind... and we won.
#cantloseonafriday
had a few mistakes, one massive one for 200bb's which I'm still fuming about. I bet/raise flop and went for three barrels on a runout of
When he sna called turn I should've realised he always has a fd and just bomb all non flushing rivers... but I'm not perfect yet. C'est la vie.
But there was a lot of solid stuff:
- I remember cbet/folding AK on Axxx when raised on the turn
- peel JJ pre, call 532, call 8, fold 4 - I'd already decided I was folding any river except a J.
However, to be honest I think there are $40-50 worth of poor play or just plain bad stuff. It being a Friday just means that I can win so much I didn't even see/ think about many of those hands till just now looking at the -$ pots in HEM2.
Sigh-a-ments, will be looking into them closer tomorrow to make sure I really focus on anything that happens more than once.
Will post some fun hands tomorrow, but for now here's the old graph.. We're out of the early Dec hole, now its the march to 25nl.

lost a bunch of big hands already... keep winning one then insta lose a bi... most have been fine, think there was one i didn't love but can't think of it now.
Been watching the GPS final stream in the fox all day, gl to Tim Chung and Ben Jackson, both very good, both really nice guys.
I'll get back to it then.
Most ridiculous session really, check this out so far.

I had to read that three or four times cos I was sure it said "I've never seen this be an ace before" and that surprised, then penny dropped.
just bvb... its so unusual to do something like this.

Just realised I haven't added any fun things from Madrid....
Here's a couple of pics and a vid from Tallinn from the summer, a vid from the MonteCasino in SA, and a vid from the club in Madrid.
The pics -
1 is me outside a kebab shop i found at 6am... I thought both I was a genius and that it was hilarious... all at the same time!
2 is just some wine with a meal.. I do refined sometimes..
3 is my attempt at a Movember moustache
4 is my adjusted Movember tash for the final day... (commonly known as the 'chaplin')

Total session last night..
This game yet again reminds me that you absolutely cannot relax and cannot take a single pot for granted! I did have breaks in between the swings of the session, 3 i think - one included a dinner break of 45mins or so.. but I kept the tables up because I was so deep on most tables.
Here are the over 100bb pots of the day..
Remember this is a 5k hand session... yes there are a couple of bluffs.. the
most notably.. its clearly a little mental. However at the time I was thinking about sheer combinations, he has to have exactly the
to call there.

Just got in from another live session...
It was a little mixed but on the whole a good session where I played well and won some ££'s.
I feel that over the whole session I played 8.5/10. I made a lot of good value bets, some a little thin but appropriately so, and some big sexy ones.
I made one bluff in a really good spot where a player raises EP and I 3bt small to ISO. He peels OOP and we see a 10xx flop (we have K10 but this doesn't matter). I'd been checking back lots of flops, with good hands and air so I decided to bet this flop in order to put his stack at risk if i chose to (he was on his 3rd or 4th buyin and clearly did not want to buyin again, no matter what). We see a turn that brings a gutshot in and presents a club fd, but this player will will often cr draws so if he cc's I'm happy about his hand strength being 1 pair at best. He however cr small, which makes it more likely he has the draw or a weak one pair hand trying to get to showdown or actually a little confused about what to do so just cr for the lolz. I peel with the intention of threatening his stack on almost all non club rivers. A suitable brick peels off and he then bets 1/3 pot or so which in my mind makes his hand at best AA, but almost certainly 10x - QQ. I take some time as i have done with bluffs and value hands, and then shove.
He agonises over a few minutes.. asks me if i can beat 77 (3rd pair) and then sighs in his money. He tells me after he did this because if i was bluffing he'd be close to even on the session.
FMFL!
So that was the one 'blowup' or whatever... I don't know what you call a profitable bluff that someone sniffs out...?
Other than that though, I made my way up from my initial buyin.. had a lot of small to medium pots go my way and go involved in one gigantic pot where I hold top two in a double straddled pot vs top pair+fd vs nfd. All in on the flop and I turn a boat to turn them dead to a chop (for the tp+fd guy). That was nice. At my peak I was up to 3.5buyins but I finished just under 2bi's.
I ran horribly vs one regular who decided to peel 108o for 1/4 stack pre-flop and happen to flop a straight vs my over pair... mbn.
He also found A2 vs my 102 when four handed on a 242 flop... again mbn. He even gave me a speech and then shoved, before I turned my hand I said if you have me beat then meh but I was calling anyways... didn't need the speech.
I managed to own a decent player in a medium sized pot with KK vs J9 on 9x77J where he knew he should fold the river but made the call anyways. He's a mate and this was our only hand together of the night.
Other than that, feeling really good about playing live... I'm picking spots well, being aggressive in position and managing to negotiate my way to showdown with the best hand - A LOT which so far is = decent bb/100.
Anyways, I was going to play some online when I got home but I'm a little tired so no online tonight. Instead some 'Homeland' and then bed. Tomorrow is the beginning of my 'pro month'

I hate hate hate to come across how this might, but you still don't get it, certainly live.
Its just so complicated. Your making it so hard with these iso's and 3/5ing. I've 5bet folded once ever and that was a crazyspot vs my housemate. Normally I spend a few hours a night chilling, lose with a premium, get a bit angry and open a bit, and am winning at the end of the night. I don't know if this is what your really doing because maybe its just how your coming off.
I'll be home playing and on Skype a lot too so sure we'll get to chat.
Edit. Sounds like you did a lot of what I said anyway, so I take it back. I'm sure you'll get what I mean tho
