Did you say you were playing at DTD this weekend JB?
Rubs
Not at all - JB has reported that he has a satellite ticket from way back when the rules allowed you to win multiples and hang on to them, and I was sure he'd said something recently about using it for this weekend.
I'm in no position to deliver rubs on the lad - he's abso crushing live cash at the moment, I played 3.5 hrs last night and courtesy of a flopped set rivered house on my already declared 'last hand' i played for a win rate of exactly zero/hr
true story..
Not sure, I can take friday off if i need it, I have a 500 and nicola has sorted it so I can use it and get tourny credits for the rest.
So its a case of can I play it, could I win it... what time would that all require as I need to be at heathrow for 6pm Sunday.
If I'm correct the final table of the 300 would be finishing around 10/11pm sunday right?
Yeah, finishes late evening on the Sunday.
You'd make the plane easy if you don't have to play Day 2...

I don't mean to sound rude mate, I probably am though... Feeling really tired and messed up today.
Think my body clock is completely DFJDOLFJDSFDFKSFD'd!
You came to the table and had opened a LOT of pots, in that particular spot where a tight-ish player reraises you... its a fantastic spot for you to rejam and make him fold a good hand. As you know I don't have to have AA when I cold 4bt in position. So yeah, vs you with my read on the situation I would be 4bt/calling that hand at that time.
I thought you would be shoving lots of pairs, Ax, Kx and probably lots of KQ/ KJ/ QJ type blocker hands...
Are you seriously saying you thought I did have a Q and you were trying to make me fold it? If so, nice read. (not taking the piss)

you must have a queen when u call flop as u say pre im calling to flop a flush...board is rainbow and just cant ever see u floating anything here .....never put u on a high dude as i think u def 3 bet pre with a x suited hands....like u say yh ive raised 3 out of the 4 hands since i entered the comp lat reged at 200-400 with 30k stack and had tt and tt bck to back and the jj lost to 9 3 lol....i just dont think aq is strong enough hand to call off here i will never be shoving light because there is so many bad players here that u can extract chips from post flop

Make sure you have your dinner first. Don't want anymore folding out of turn stories if you drop your fork

well if i can play 100k a month.. then I've got some spare...
and 100k is just 100 hours a month.. or potentially less if i 4tabled 10nl with 2x25nl if i got comfortable... could even consider swapping those over once BR gets high enough.
Not sure that I would go for the 6 tables though.

I'm serious though . I have created the chart and other people are using it and winning at nl10. It's unacceptable thy sonebody who puts so much time into poker can't hear micro stakes. It's only yourself lure battling with, don't try to outplay then. You make money in poker by value bet thinly, stealing appropriately not by folding trips and a flush draw when you started the hand with 30bbs!
You really need to stop it, 2012 was funny, good blog etc but you need to man up and just play abc and be the person people are jealous of and look in their diary for inspiration (like Alex) rathe than comig in for a laugh or to see how John black butchered a hand.
with regards to online stuff, I basically am mate..
I've added some steal stuff over the last two days in CO and BTN after what Callum said, but other than that I'm being really good with 'behaving' preflop.
This ridiculous hand was just a live level where I know I'm an Omaha whale, so wanted to make perfect holdem decisions and I just didn't think Jason would be light in this spot. You're all bitching about how i just folded a 'good' hand.. but isn't anyone even considering the thought process here. He's a decent player, he knows I'm alright and he is still putting a lot of money in when it looks like I have a good hand. In my limited experience this has 'more often than not' just been a better hand.
TBF, against Jason, there's even more reason to shovel your money in - deffo levelling yourself here.
