generally, when deep opening 22-55 from EP is going to be an error, I fold 22-55 anyway utg 100bbs deep, its fine to open live i guess (although probs still bad) but deep its going to be an error.
Why is deeperer worserer with 22 from EP?

more reverse implieds, people scared to put more of their stack in when they are deep.

i've played a lot more 1/2 than 2/5.
If the reason you want to stack off is because "they dont fold qj on qj2" then why not limp atc and c/f if we don't have trips. At least with 73s we can flop pair+draw etc. 22 just has zero playability and we can't try to expect to win pots from playing creatively.
Ok just ignore my point completely. Its not like my whole point was that one hh. People at 1/2 make hundreds and thousands of mistakes postflop in situations and whilst we might have some reverse implied odds with 22 deep this is simply not the case if we are competent. We don't have to be creative with 22. We just have to see a flop for as cheap as possible. Surely 73s has a lot more reverse implied odds than 22 seen as nothing you ever flop is winning vs someone that will stack off whereas 22 will be.

no point arguing on JB's thread, can write me on Skype, generally I think almost everybody misplays 22-55 (except Sauce
) which could definitely mean that ifs/me are wrong and everybody else is right

Gotta agree with Adam here. Win sooo much with small pairs in deep live cash.
Your 73s argument is ridic when mentioning in the same post reverse implied odds of flopping bottom set with 22

I quite like limping those small pairs when your pretty deep and just seeing what happens, hopefully someone ISO's you and 3 people call behind, now we are getting 9/2 to try a flop a set in a delicious spot and c/f every board we dont. if we're gonna be HU oop, or it all kicks off we can just fold and we've lost £2

In online 100bb's deep I completely agree, so much so that I looked at my sample, saw U were right about me losing with 22-77utg and now I dont.
But I struggle to believe its a losing play to open any pair utg when 300bb+ deep.

really depends on the players behind you, with good aggressive players acting behind you I think it's going to be v difficult to make a profit, if the hj/co/btn (at least two of them) are weak and you have a feww splashy sammys in the blinds with plenty of chips then I agree you'll have a profitable open, most of the time though I'd prolly side with pads and think its a small loser opening...
I like limping though

This was exactly the situation, then when he 3bts to 40 over. 10 open and knowing I will cause at least one player (maybe both) to peel when I do. It works perfectly.
We get position, a small pair that is concealed (because everyone else limp/call their small pairs) and has a lot of blinds.
The real discussion point I thought, which no one mentioned.
Was my turn sizing.
I bet 90> 370 to make sure that if SB shoved, I got my option back...
Like??
Obv if I set him in here, he still binks but this way we get it in 'good'

Ccr is fun!!!
We're at an American diner in London for breakfast and Shane having lost two taxi's in a row..
4-1 and 6-1, gets hu.
But we'd staggered it so it goes
Pay
Pay
Pay
Free
Pay most
before it he said he just wanted to pay the normal, but getting hu he was sweating..
Then after the waitress picked him safe, she rubbed Toby down by saying "oh so you have to pay? Sorrrrryyyyy"
Vegas will be a nightmare....

mmm yh its very astute of you but i think in live games might just be better to bet big for value/protection as the guy might be way less likely to jam his draws since you e folding 0% of the time and he might wanna keep the action multiway...
Plus youre giving the other guy a great price with his draws your not making him make a mistake by calling. if you sre sure the shorter stack is jamming then its good if not its a little FPS prolly
