If Pleno says if you lose X amount at 25 NL you have to drop down to 10 NL then you must drop down this is what you must do mate. If its a case of lose 5 bi then take a break then the break has to be long enough to not lose another 5 bi again on your return. This break could be as short as grabbing a snack or taking a shower. However the breaks you need to take may need to be 24 hours or more.

The advice could be as simple as make hands get paid or fold that shit pre flop man. Pleno has given you plenty of free advice already and I could understand his apathy towards helping out when he is super busy. You are still at 10 & 25 NL all these months and hands later.

Imagine his enthusiasm if after this time he had actually made you listen and follow his advice. He would be bouncing around saying look how good a coach I am, I even got John Black listening and learning and now he is crushing 100 NL. The sad facts are that he had to keep repeating the basics over and over so it has to be frustrating for him.

Hope you two stick together and crush tho

I saw the hands you posted JB, and I have to agree with Justin, it looks like you have tilted off loads... I have done the same many a time, lose pots constantly over and over, feel like your getting beat up for long periods, level yourself into thinking they are all trying to put a move on you and then bang, bye bye money.

I think you really need to think less at these stakes, it really is soft and when you make strong hands, you will get paid time and time again. It's like let's say 10 times you think they are light, literally 2 of the times IF that, u will be right, the other 8, somehow they would have got there. When u move up stakes, then I think you can think in more detail, but if your playing zoom, it really is, imo, robotic, not too many players getting out of line due to the number of hands you can play in a hour.

Your hand report, looks like you are just forcing the action, trying to get players to fold good hands in bad spots, and generally becoming stubborn when they don't fold (over-shoving a couple of times)..

Also you repeatedly say, 'don't think they would or should play it like this or that - Ofc they will not play it how you think, if you are better than them, lots of weird plays by bad players, but if you have the skill edge then you should be able to act accordingly when they do it.

Hope you get it sorted and u begin to crush again..

More evidence of some form of glitch in the Blonde server I think

Hi all,

What I would like to know please:

1. Is there 5mill guaranteed, or just the 1m for 1st and is the guarantee going to be escrowed by DTD? I don't trust the ISPT not to renege if entrants are tiny...

2. Are 70% of Day 2 entries still going to be paid? If entrants are low will this be a nominal amount?

only gtd is first place 1millon for first 5 million is needed too insure no overlay as they will only pay a max of 20% to first out of prize pool

if prizepool is €3m, first place is the GTD €1m (which would be 33%), where does the other €2m come from to ensure that first is only 20% of the prize pool?
they pay out using a normal structure. Only 20% of prizepool is given to winner so he gets €600k from the prize pool with the €2.4 mill distributed to the field and Rob then opens his wallet and flicks the winner a €400k note..... He has plenty of them

I think Rupert and Jason's accounts have been switched...

For the record, found myself distinctly spanked.

Played like a very very normal and sensible person today, crushed for 3-4bi's.

going to do something on monday as she's gone to visit family this weekend, but some more nights out are on the way...

if so - well played sir!

Unfortunately no, she had a friends grandmothers funeral.

So committed to getting out of the date she left work early to 'sell it'. Cheesy

all sorted, had a rough time at the funeral and had to study later on.. exam tonight, but tomorrow is mine. Cheesy

should be fun.

For anyone who knows anything about Rugby, we have a leicester tiger here... doing some promotion with the FCO for rugby here.
So was having a drink with a guy called 'Camillo' something or other... nice guy, bit of a lad and even a little bit green about somethings! Cheesy

It's his holiday after being injured and he's almost back to full fitness, but i reckon he and i could get onto a right tear in town as he seems to be as fond of the local ladies as I am, but he has fluent spanish! bink!

going out on saturday I believe but possibly before...
got smashed last night with him and had a right laugh as one of the guys I work with is a rugger fan and was a lot starstruck.... Cheesy

Played a small-ish session today.  Lost half a bi i think..

I had some 'close' decisions... some could or shouldve been folds.

One hand I thought there was a flush and flatted the nut straight on the river... the guy had two pairs and may have paid a raise, may not..

Other than that, had a relatively ok session... with only one really unfortunate thing happening.. I had AA and the connection went down...
Turns out the board ran out 346710 or something so probably wouldn't have gotten much... but sucked to have a good hand and then lose wifi for a few seconds.

Going to continue this refreshed run of 'solid' play with little to no spew, and very little creativeness... its boring sometimes, but then when I look down at all the tables and out of nowhere they're all way above 100bb's that makes me smile and helps remind me to not be a complete ****er (insert favorite word of choice) and just Keep It Simple Stupid!

She's here and we're just going out for grub... just playing a small session while she showers..

lost a few small gross pots.

KJ vs 84cc aipf. Cheesy

something else strange... but just made a straight and then rivered a straight flush and got a full bi!

looking forward to dinner, starving!

Nice post Dreenie and something I think a lot of players like me need to be constantly reminding ourselves of.
