It was a good price, I happened to walk into WH this morning (cleanest public convenience in town obv) and they were going 9/4 but with the draw in play...

Boylesports when I had a look last night, 7/4 elsewhere.

Should stuck the £50 on Tikay!

Agree with Camel none of this greening out malarkey please!

Thanks man, great tip. Yeah, I SHOULD have done a lot of things different yesterday! I felt a right 'nana.

It was one of those days where if I COULD mess something up, I did. Talk about getting in a right 2 & 8, especially after nobody commented on your Tip until AFTER I placed the bet!

Anyway, thank you, & we (I....) did not make as much as I should have, (I could ONLY access Betfair yesterday, no other Bookmakers sites), so one way & another it did not go to plan, but at least a bit of profit was booked, & the numbers improved.

Middlesborough to beat Portsmouth @ 6/4 looks massive to me.
Pompey in a lot of well publicised trouble, in the relegation zone against a strong contender for the play-offs.

Thanks!

Did you lay £100 or £83.33 at 2.2 on Rory McIlroy?
If it was the former, you have actually invested (risked) £120.

P.S. Well done for dodging the Chris Bridge bet - it was a loser. Apologies to ChipRich.

You are correct, sorry, amended now. I rung Ralph, & got him to help me, & I struck £100 @ 2.2. I think.....Ralph said he "saw" my Lay appear. (Can be validated via account history).

I am also not sure if I have the numbers correct on the two football bets - I will C & P my BF account history for those 2 bets tomorrow to validate & sort them out, & correct the running totals if need be.

Going from traditional odds betting to Exchanges reminds me of when I switched from snooker to billiards, everything is back to front, so confusing!

If Rory's planning on losing this tournament, someone needs to tell him that he shouldn't be holing all these putts.

not sure if i am allowed to post in here but i think this is a little bit of value

"Cheltenham special bet

There to be 13 or more irish winners at the cheltenham festival 6-1 2PTS WIN (totesport or betfred)

i have been looking at this all day after somebody i respect pointed it out to me, last season the irish hit 13 winners and presumably the two bookies offering 6-1 for a repeat are thinking it was a fluke. I am not so sure mullins is clear fav to be champion trainer and not unusually they have lots of chances in all races with cheltenham become more and more the target for all trainers i happen to think last years numbers might become the norm rather than not.
"

thats from my thread not sure how your staking works.

It is quite hard to quantify what i think this price should be however my instinct and research suggests something around 3-1/7-2 is a more correct price based on the irish chances pre cheltenham last year to this year, this is of course subjective but is based on the ante post prices e.t.c

Of course you can Post it here, anyone can suggest anything.

I like the idea of an "entire Fessie sweat", perfect fun that, though I'm not sure about this one, at first glance, as you say "part instinct". Do we not have some stats to base it upon?

Views from anyone else on this, please? Is there another way of tackling this bet, via, say, Betfair, so we could perhap trade in or out? I so want to get some of this greening out practice at something!

the only stat i can offer is last year there were 13, previously the number was always lower but arguably the irish trainers have a much great depth these days

Thanks Bud. I really like the idea of a sweat that covers the entire fessie, so let's see if we get any opinions. Usually, they wait until I punt and then tell me what a mug I am.......
