Have been waiting for Hairdryer (420pm Haydock today) to go into a nursery handicap. Well weighted, ideal distance and the ground drying out and not too soft. Good apprentice on board and Hannon sent it up to Haydock to strike. Recommend 5pts win today. 7/2 general, some 4/1 still about.

I've just noticed Leicester are 4/1 to beat Southampton tomorrow. That seems a massive price, any thoughts?

it didn't strike me as a huge standout. We are fantastic on the break, lots of pace, score goals but we also concede a load too and that would be my concern at Southampton

Mahrez and Schlupp were only back from International duty on thursday, from long trips, and might not be ready to play either

i would say o2.5 is very very likely.

Deeply contrariAn, because they are crap, but i was wondering if a Villa team that reputedly will include Grealish, Gil and Traore and thus set up to go for it could possiblY be value at 10-1 at Stamford Bridge....

i think we've had two double digit Villa coups in the lifetime of the thread.

Is that contrarian? Is any team 10/1 against Chelsea right now?

Seems like a lovely spot for a value munch to me.

Think small stakes villa is the best play here. Looked at the AH market and Chelsea are -1.5 which is the same as City vs Bournemouth. Bournemouth are much shorter than 10/1 so either the 10/1 Villa is s great bet or my city -1.5 is looking even better.

Really don't fancy Villa at all, even at that price. Think Chelsea will hammer them.

Bournemouth have a better chance of an upset at a similar price away to Man City imo.

Seems fine to me too btw.   Seems Tim Sherwood is under pressure at Villa right now.   I don't rate him much, but if he had done tgat for my team, I would cut him a bit of slack if he lost a few games by the odd goal.  Very short memories it seems.

It's a little worrying that Sherwood has been speaking about himself in the third person again recently which never seems to bode well.
