Apart from the week 17 game against TB when they rested a lot of players, he has barely covered this line and would have been UNDER more often than not. He has also been UNDER this total in both playoff games

As an aside and possibly contrary to the above, Funchess at 25/1 probably reps decent value for FTS. For some one who only has 34 receptions, to score 6 TDs is a decent ratio. Can see him lining up in "3rd and goal" situations where coverage will be more concentrated elsewhere

Forgive my naivety but what would that extra 100kJ amount to in terms of 2nds? Would that have been the difference between Bird and Buemi yesterday?

It's hard to quantify because it depends on which part of which track you use it. However, the data shows that it's generally around a half second gain. The delta at the end of the race yesterday between Bird and Buemi was 0.716 seconds, however, at one point, it was only 0.3 seconds. So Buemi probably could have got past, if he'd had it, and deployed it at the correct moment.
