1.30  Am half tempted to give it a miss, as we have Garde La Victoire at a fantastic price.  But there are a couple of no hopers in, making each way a good bet,  and I am prepared to give L’ami Serge another chance.  Suggest £25e/w L’Ami Serge at 9/1 (shy, victor, bfsb.  Sporting are fifth the odds be careful).
Interestingly Shy laid me £50 e/w here.  Guess Cheltenham limits are much bigger, or they have taken their multiples off as I was expecting 1.25 e/w.   I would have gone a bit higher if I realised!

2.10  I am sure there are plenty more, but I really like Missed Approach (12/1 5 places only at 365).  You want £20 e/w Tighty?

2.50  Has become disappointing is the Sporting life comment on this one.  Whilst there is a lot of truth in that.  He has only really run one decent race this season (at Wetherby),  and been 2nd and 3rd but 20 lengths back at Haydock and Ascot.   But the horse is best on good ground (see spring 2014), the each way terms are great and his trainer has had a patchy season (already one winner at cheltenham).  I think we hold our noses and put £20 e/w on Dynaste at 40/1 (b365, victor)

3.30
Neil has been talking about Whisper everywhere, and  I wouldn’t put you off.  It was on the SB preview and I think he put it in a weekly column.    The each way terms mean that Cole Harden is also a bet at 7/1, quarter first 3 with several bookies (suggest 25 e/w)

I also had a bet on Saphir Du Rheu, but the horse has always been good to me, so think it is a heart one, so will give it a miss here.

Thanks again Doobs and GL.

Would you take Garde La Victoire  at 7/2 - Struggling to make a pick for the 1.30 money back offer from Sky, who do we think?

Probably not at that price.

He's at it again, Doobs gets the third, at 9/1 ew.

That'll do nicely, ty.

Was having lunch in the town and lost track of time.

Got back in time to see the end, but not an ideal result considering I had 3 runners Cheesy

Nice one again, Doobs!

Plenty of carnage, Zabana U/R at the tapes, but many firms are refunding bets on that one, or giving a free bet in lieu.

Am I wrong to be expecting a free bet from Sky on my L'ami Serge EW bet as the win part lost?

You are, I'm afraid Stu, the refund is ONLY on the win part.

Oh dear, I do need to work on my English!

I meant should I be expecting them to free bet the win part of my EW bet even though I got paid on the place part.
If that makes more sense!

And the answer is yes, as it has now arrived.

Tis a great offer Mr Kendall.

Forget Cheltenham, Towcester is where it's at. Really like Lettheriverrundry in the 2.25. £50 @ 2-1 please.

For those who followed The Chompster in, this race is on ATR and is due off in the next minute or so.

Our selection finished 3rd, after a nasty incident a few hurdles out when we were impeded by a faller and the fallen jockey got kicked in the face by our mount. Not certain it cost us the race, but we lost momentum at the crucial moment.

Hope the jockey is ok, it looked really nasty.
