Fuming at being overlooked YET AGAIN by a ranting poster.
It's a joke.
Yours most insincerely,

PS. Does anyone want to buy a Y Reg Nissan Cherry?

Quick update on our cricket bet, early days but Kings Xi are bottom. The 2 other sides who only have 1 win each play each other today so one of them will move up the table. Punjab travel to Hyderabad tomorrow to play another of the "weaker" sides on paper. With Warner in form, Dhawan regaining some confidence and a varied bowling attack (Mustifizur particularly impressive) I'm hopeful they can get a win and keep Punjab rooted to the bottom.
*Mustifizur is coming over to Sussex to play T20 blast in the summer, will be interesting to see how he adapts to our conditions, he's a real talent for a 20 year old.

Was expecting a bollocking for my semi pissed up kerry katona nonsense on the prince thread I posted last night. Didn't think it would kick off on here! Nissan cherrys ftw. Knew tal wouldn't disappoint. Like clockwork.

Can't believe carbboy got overlooked. Thread would be nothing without him.

Livid here!
Confused over Scotty T though. What happened here Knobtikay?
I seem to remember OverTheBorder put him up pre-comp at 6-1, but it was with Coral and we were super restricted. When did you tip him? After he'd won?
Looking back, hero put it up at 9/4 on Sky.
We can not bet on Sky. That is the case if me, chumps, festor and betting empoorium put it up as a 5 star max.
For hero. Tikay is an employee of Sky, so if he starts betting through them, some people may view it badly. It has been the policy here for a long time. This is not a personal thing.
Yuh, according to my sauces, he put it up at 9-4 with Sky without having seen a single episode of CBB? And the price then drifted to 4-1+.
He also sayed Tiff will defo finish above Steph. She didn't.
Again, nothing personal though.
I reckon if that wasn't really going to be knotikays last post, it really should be now. rekt

On the subject of snooker Tighty thoughts on Holt v Williams today? I think this might be a bit "after the lord mayor's show" for holt and he'll struggle to get back to the level against Robertson. Williams looked back in top form in round 1 against an out of sort Dott admittedly. I fancy this one to be an easy win for Williams.
knottikay has Williams in his treble. that's enough for me.
(my own view is that Williams too often doesn't give a toss and is unbackable at 1/2) though of course a lot of qualifiers do struggle to back up a big win with another here
i liked Joe Perry's comment about Kyren. That was a great match.
Joe Perry @joegentlemanjoe 55m55 minutes ago
Great match to be involved in, threw everything at him and he stood up to it. Great player, great lad, massive future. Good luck Kyren
Wilson might not beat Allen, but hes a player to be on the right side of as he climbs the rankings
Tighty knew. Williams getting smashed up.

My missus likes to make selections based on the names of the horses. She used to look at the RPost write-ups, but concluded that it was generally "bollox", and only served to steer her away from choosing a nag with a nice name (quite often it was the grey one).
She is exceptionally good at finding winners (inc places at the larger 10-1+ prices).
If I was to start putting her selections up on TFT, can you advise the following:
1. What strikerate would she have to achieve before the tips would be taken seriously?
2. What's the number of races at which the strike-rate could be established?
She thinks I'm joking when I tell her that she has an unnatural talent, so I'm keen to demonstrate that this is serious business.

Be surprised if he did. £400k liability? "Give me one minute sir, I just need to confirm this bet with our traders.......we can offer you £10 at 100-1 and another £40 at 33-1."
Good one to get in the papers though.

What would be the downside in laying Liverpool today and backing them tmoro after team news is announced, surely the price is only going one way ? I expect this ofc will be somewhat factored in but if Klopp is extreme could be some value and like I say I can't see the downside since he's never going full strength.

Interesting article here on the 'race to the bottom'. Looks like Ladbrokes have finally realised they can't compete on volume anymore and are moving to a margin based approach to their growth. Won't be long before most of the other operators realise the same and fall into line leaving the new internet power houses of 365/bettypower to keep mopping up the volume at the top of the tree with their lower cost bases.
