Would any of the tennis experts like to have first go at finding the winner of the ATP Mexico? I know it's a tad harder to do it before the tournament starts but give it a go, you might enjoy it. If not I will put another random punt up later on for anyone interested.

Morning hector. Please don't let one poster get under your skin. The overwhelming majority of posters value your contribution enormously. Yes, there are odds experts who can post-rationalise the value of taking a bet at the opening odds versus the cumulative win bets etc etc - and usually pointed out in a far more diplomatic way than we read over the last few days. These are valid points, just clumsily made. Just let it roll off, but be smart enough to not ignore the point.
Just my opinion, of course. And it does make a person far more reluctant to put up a rec on here, but life's full of these challenges.

Would just like to say I follow your picks religiously and it would be a great shame if you did stop posting.

As I think you know Hector, I back all your stuff blind. Sometimes when I buy the girls a new dress or book a day out, it's Peppa Pig World next week, I tell the girls Hector paid for this.
So from Jade and Skye, keep posting please Hector.

So please, for the sake of the Jager bombs, let me know your random punt of the week.

Just my opinion - not sure all this is necessary just because Weetabix had a different view on things. Hector has a great tennis record and Weetabix may have made his point a bit abruptly, but this type of stuff 2 days later is hardly going to encourage new posters is it?

I don't think I was abrupt, but we are all entitled to an opinion. Hectors first post today could easily fall into the 'tosser' category. The numbers were there pre and post even and as I have already said I only posted after tikay said it was great value. I don't think hector put up nishioka and stated it was great value, if he had I would have broken it down the same way. Anyway, I look forward to hectors Querrey or Lopez selection.

Don't worry about the sour grapes hector, you can't please all the people all of the time. This is the tip of the iceberg.
I agree with 4kSuited that Weetabix made a good point but clumsily so and people are right that its important to take on constructive criticism even if it comes with a hefty veil.
Of course if the haters' views weren't rooted in their own crippling insecurity they'd have been working on their own private thread elsewhere for years. Unencumbered by the godmoding pinstickers of TfT I'm sure that 7.6% over 6,000 bets is chump change in comparison to the EV of their bets vs bf SPs and whenever the big reveal comes we'll be rolling out the red carpet.
I won't be holding my breath.
Edit: lol ok Weetabix I take it back

Hello, probably just as well i was missing for most of the weekend!
why don't you put some bets up? don't think you've had a bet on the thread yet and the more the merrier
lets see if we can move on from all this and focus on new ideas and making everyone some money again?

Maybe Weetabix works for a bookie and his motive is to put Hector off posting so that the ROI goes down. No? I'm away back to the politics thread for a conspiracy plot.

Look, I am not stopping posting. My tip will be up later. But still no sign of anyone else putting a tip up. If you are going to criticise then prove your credentials.

Going to offer my bet for the season
Been informed that things at Hull are even worse than actually reported (if possible )
Struggling to even put a side out this Saturday against a confident Leicester side with loads of pace up front.
Recommend £100 at 11-10 with Bet 365 and others pretty sure this will go before Saturday.
