Heavy rain has fallen for several hours ahead of the Brazilian GP, and it looks set to stay too. The race begins at 4PM UK time.

I've got a few bets to suggest:

Points Finish - Jenson Button @ 13/8 with Hills (best price >EVS is fine) AND Pascal Wehrlein @ 25/1 with BetStars. Jenson's experienced approach should help him in the slippery conditions, and Pascal has proved in junior categories that he's a very good driver in the wet. Suggest £20 on Jenson and £5 on Pascal.

Leader after 1st Lap - Kimi Raikkonen @ 38/5 & Max Verstappen @ 20/1 both on the exchange. Mercedes have concerns about their starts in wet atmospheric conditions, and this is exaggerated at Brazil due to the high altitude. The prices on Kimi and Max (starting 3rd & 4th) are just too high. £5 on each.

Do the first lap bets get voided if they start behind a safety car?

Good question, not sure actually. However the race director has expressed a preference for a normal start - we'll see what happens.

.. and as I write that, we've just had confirmation of a safety car start. Understandable decision. We'll have to see what the bookies rules are.

Think I'm going to drop in CJ Fiedorowicz anytime as my NFL tip for the early evening. He's the tight end for the Houston Texans. Has scored 2 in the last 3 games they've played. He's had over 5 receptions in those matches and with Brock I'm not good' Osweiler at QB definitely seems to be the chosen target.

David Johnson anytime for the Cardinals is obviously the best bet of the day. But it's also 8/15 so can't tip that here. CJ however is uo at 10/3 on everyday. 3/1 is available at 4 other spots. 11/4 is ok too if you can get on anywhere. Looks like you can get on at Hills?

£20 on there please

Could you explain the thinking behind being a great bet but not tipping it? Price seems right imo

I just don't like putting up short prices for this page. Ironically I've tipped and napped it on my blog. But was looking for something a little more interesting for this thread. I think there's a very good chance he gets multiple tds and o150 yards tbh.

So more than happy for the thread to get on it if they so want to :)

CJ is def a good fantasy streamer today (I've picked him up to play in my fantasy team today) but the Jags have been stingy against opposing tight ends in the end zone:

Good luck if you're playing tho.

The last remaining BMU customer will enjoy over 86.5 receiving yards for Mike Evans in Tampa v Chicago. Number Fire project him to get over 100 today.

Any views on Atlanta at Philly? I really like Philadelphia and am always against the Falcons if JJ might get locked down. Best bet this week at slightly odds against imo.

Edit: Line has moved, sorry for the after time, still a bet atm imo.

Philly have been using a safety as their slot cornerback but that can't work against Sanu. It'd be a big mismatch. My only hesitation in not pushing Sanu yards is that they might rotate Julio into the slot and try to move the number one defense in football around.

It's a really tough game to call, IMO.
