stop sulking you fat stokie twat and get your head down and smash this old man off the oche!  There's a good lad.

Lewis needs to get a grip of himself.  Several times he could have pushed on and won that.  So poor.

Lewis smashed barney on every stat as well in the stat summary at the end of the game barring 140's (and obviously the key one sets won)

The tiniest slither of light in our 49ers bet, as Pittsburgh have all but confirmed QB Ben Roethlisberger, Wide Receiver Antonio Brown and Running Back Le'Veon Bell will be rested in this weekend's game against Cleveland, in preparatiom for the playoffs. The number 2 running back, DeAngelo Williams, will likely also miss a good chunk of the game, as he returns from injury.

At this news, the Cleveland Browns went from 12.5 point underdogs to "just" 6 points underdogs.

Meanwhile, Seattle need to win against the 49ers.

To be perfectly honest, I'd fancy my chances of an 80 yard rushing game against the Browns defense and tikay would outrun some of their defensive backs. Moreover, the team might want to lose in order to get the number one overall pick in next year's draft.

Grim situation, but not as grim as it was a few hours ago.

Fitz Toussaint it is then? Such a tough week to call anything. Leaves Tighty and others a chance to catch me in the prediction league as anything can happen really.

Found this in the week which could be the best reference at the moment of teams likely to rest players...Take a look at https://mobile.twitter.com/TouchdownTips/status/814383237216763904/photo/1 hopefully that link will work. Always struggle getting photos from Twitter on my phone

That's a nice and simple way of covering it.

It's hard to see Oakland winning in Denver without Derek Carr, but the line has moved from Oak +3.5 to +1 since it opened. The bye is massive for Oakland, as, even though they'd still be favourites to beat Houston, Pittsburgh will beat Miami and that will mean Oakland has to go to Foxborough to take on the Patriots. If Oakland can keep the bye by matching KC's result this weekend, the route is a bye followed by a home game against Pittsburgh.

McGloin isn't an awful qb. But with the raiders being an offensive team they'll struggle. Although they are facing a Denver team with no oline who can't score any points as well.. unders may be the way to go there. Patriots or Pitt, they'll struggle either way, hard to see past those two for me. Although the Chiefs could possibly pose a problem now they've got a spark on offence

The only one I'm confident to any extent on is the Packers beating the Lions by 3.

Oakland @ Denver is already the lowest total on the boards at 40 (joint with the snoozefest of Houston @ Tennessee). Even Chicago @ Minnesota has a higher line!

McGloin is certainly one of the better backups but the main point for them is they have a truly brilliant offensive line to protect him, even against Denver.

That's true. Didn't realise it would be that low! Barkley will beat the Chicago line by himself :/

Renegades lost off the last ball today in our big bash Outright bet. Main issue is that Bravo looks to have sustained a bad hammy injury,  if he's out for the rest of the tournament then we're up against it

Heard most of the first one the other day. A decent amount of time spent discussing issues and worth a listen......but of course no answers from the bookies

This fella, who most mature football fans will know of, seems to have put a bit of weight on.

Clyde Best - the first black footballer to play in the English top-flight.

I'll show that pic to my Dad, he played against Best in Bermuda.

we have a quarterfinalist in the darts at 250-1.

Gurney is likely to play MVG next

anything to be done on Betfair, apart from ride it, with £5 e/w at 250-1 to flatten out the +/- profile?

--

other half of the draw £200 e/w Anderson 13/2 is in the quarters too.

He is still roughly the same price now.

Anyone else find the final set of the Webster/Gurney game hard to watch? Daryl Gurney bared his soul on stage there and was a man on the absolute edge. Fair play him finding the mettle to get himself through when it looked like he would rather be anywhere else than in front of that crowd.

Bared his soul as being petulant and entitled?

Of course they should be nice and quiet for you mate, whats important is you having the best possible chance at winning some more prize money that they've paid their ticket price to (albeit partly) fund

I expected the crowd to give him a tougher time after the sarcastic clap tbh, poor from him to not let bygones be bygones and make amends after he won the match
