Serena Williams appears to have announced she is pregnant.

Great news for thread.  Konta now best priced 12/1 for Wimbledon and US Open.  I don't think there is anyone left who is miles above her and she could push on to be a top 4 seed.

How bad is Trump playing?  Rory is such a jobber it is amazing he is still on tour after all these years.  26 years as a pro.  Makes G Dott look like Alex Higgins in the break building department.  Someone has just had a bullseye on Rory at 180/1 on the machine to win it all!  People say there is no value on the machine any more!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rory_McLeod_(snooker_player)

£440k in 26 years prize money!  £17k a year!

far weaker bottom half of the draw really wide open if trump loses

selby,fu, murphy, ronnie, ding all in the top half

bingham/wilson,higgins/allen second round winners and hawkins all realistic e/w betting shots if judd goes

Have you been watching your RTR tip, Xiao? Leads 5-3 I think, against Ryan Day, but neither of them playing great.

10-8 or so either way at the end i reckon. Xiao played much better in qualifying. I find Day to be pretty flaky, certainly very beatable.

so far 13 completed matches, 13 favourites win

the draw was disappointing, put a lot of the up and coming qualifiers against the better seeds,so upset potential far less than it might have been

6-3 now.  Smiley

Xiao started much better in the evening session.

8-3 now.

What price are we going to get on Maguire to beat Rory in the 2nd round?  Think anyone will go 1/3?

No over reaction!  1/8 best from the early show.  Fuck me Rory is shit but i don't think i could back on fire at 1/8 to beat anyone just incase he fancies laying himself!  This match only worth £12,500 in additional prize money.  Not often on fire will be able to lay himself in a major tv event again at this price.

Shows what an incredibly terrible price lolrory is to win the event around 200/1 if he is this price to beat on fire.  He can't be a shorter price against anyone else he can possibly meet (bar Dott) over longer matches deeper in the event.  7x7x7x7= 2400/1.  That is being generous as well making him a 6/1 shot in any semi or final match as well.

Impossible surely.

1/6 would be my price.

But of course Smiley Missed that one as wasn't in the main grid showing all the 1st round exits.

Beat Tian Pengfei in the final who is not exactly a world beater either. I wonder if they did a deal heads up...?

Recommend Darya Kasatkina £10 each way at 66/1 with several firms

This one got a bit of a boost with Serena missing out.

Yes, a nice boost!

Anyone with any antepost bets on future Grand Slams is in a great spot now. Konta has a great chance at Wimbledon. Betting wide open now, Kvitova and Sharapova are the unknown factors.

Garry is too big for the game with Taylor, yes he's the historymakingrecordbreaking phil taylor but even his current A game doesn't make him a favourite over Garry and he's just as likely to turn up with a C or D game. Garry and MVG are miles ahead of everyone else atm.

On the evidence of that first frame my cockle @25/1 on Murphy(placed pre-draw I hasten to add) is not looking too healthy.

rolls royce of a pot there from Smurf.  This has the potential to be one of the greatest 2nd round games ever.  Long way to go Ralph.  Smurf's draw is just brutal mind!
