Recommend a lumpy bet at 11/4 on King Eden in the first Derby heat tonight at 11/4 with 365.  (edit 11/4 has just gone 5/2 with VC and coral is fine)

Has a lovely draw.  Speed to burn from the boxes.  T4 is slow away and will move left.  T6 is slow away and stays wide.  The trainer always has his kennel 100% tuned up in the early rounds of the derby unlike some who run them into form over the coming weeks.  Very little between KE and the jolly who is odds on.  2 hundredths of a second between them last week and it isn't as certain the fav will get as clear a run on the rails as the selection will out wide.

Skybet are offering 1/5 1,2,3 place terms in all RPGTV dog races tonight and there are some proper decent (for dog racing anyway) bad ew races tonight given those enhanced place terms.

Didn't trap at all.  Very surprising.  Beaten at the boxes.  Went round in 2nd behind the fav all the way round and finished 2nd.  bf sp was 3.1 and track sp 2/1 i think.  Fav went off a shade of odds against on bf having been 4/6 4/7 on the earlies.

Sneaky couple of quid on the blue dog in the next @25/1 on betty for me - it could be away and gone if there's any trouble behind.

To avoid any confusion that's Shaneboy Style who oddschecker have in red due to trap one being vacant - pretty vacant if you ask me.

very close there Ralph to getting the 'right' trouble at the first bend.  Good shout.  I laid the gamble in t4 as i thought 2 might hold it up and it did and t5 outstayed it as expected.

It looked like the 4-dog turned it's head and had a nip at him as well as taking him out at the bend.

He didn't care if "tarten carmen" was in with 'im" when he got a dog ready in the old days said Mr Crowson.

Top man.

Droopys Wilbury is a standout 15/8 with ladyboys for heat 15(9.48pm) in The Derby this evening.

That looks extremely generous for those that can as it missed the break last week but showed electric pace up to be in command at the first bend.

<edit> Just seen black tripe are going 2/1!

He said he was away for one weekend.  Not sure if it was this one, but guess so.

Ah makes sense. Had suspicions that he might have been a Tighty alter ego.

No, not that I am aware.

Hamilton on pole, ahead of Vettel, if that helps.

Peter must have gone strawberry-picking in Norfolk - don't think they have broadband there.

It's becoming a cracking season, isn't it Tikay? The two best drivers on the grid imo - with Alonso very close - battling it out in two different teams. The way F1 should be.

Iirc he posted about missing the Canadian GP. One of his favourites, I think he said, making it all the more regrettable.
