As I have been goaded by Arb, here goes....

If Leicester can win it, the way Arsenal are playing, the way morale must be diving, the way we are selling our squad off, I cant think that the smidgens of 1000-1 on the Gooners to go down cant be dreadful, by comparison.

Across the 3 accounts I have on the companies offering 1000-1 I couldn't even get a tenner on, so we will need help, but even a £5 will give us an interest at odds.

If we get a score on this and it cops fred is retired!  Me and Adz get married and everyone lives happily ever after.  AW will be the guest of honour.

It mightn't be the worst bet in the world if we're backing it to lay off.
Things could get worse before they get better, like in Mourinhos last Chelsea season. They were flirting around the relegation zone after about 10 games, dunno what price they were for relegation then, 100/1? 33/1? I really don't know. But like this example, it's never going to actually happen. If they are on 8pts or something after 10 games, then Wenger will go, whether he walks or is pushed. And any new manager coming in is never going to be relegated with the players Arsenal have at their disposal. Not even Pardew could manage that!

Another season long to offer you guys on the NFL.

The Colts under 8.5 wins. - Evens at Betway, Labrokes, 10/11 most other places.

The Colts aren't great, while I think they strengthened to an extent in the off-season they've had a few big hits over the last few weeks, they lost their center from an already poor Offensive line that can't protect their perma-injured Quarterback, Andrew Luck, whom I think will be missing the first game, and possibly the second game of the season, they're also without their main man in the secondary for a while through injury as well, Vontae Davis. Their backup QB is a pile of poop. Even before the latest injuries I only had them winning 7 at most.

The american bookies are already down to under 8 games at around 5/8.

Getting evens on the extra half game is great.

Recommend 30 on Colts under 8.5 season wins at Evens, or 10/11 if Evens isn't possible (I'm sure I put it on at Ladbrokes last time I put up a Ladbrokes bet, and happy to do again on Friday if needed)

Rybarikova is through to the 3rd round.  Unfortunately, so is Muguruza.  They play each other now, and villian has only dropped 7 games in 4 sets.

If we do get a result, Halep and Konta have gone, so that makes her passage easier.  Sharapova still lurks.

you would have to help  us with Ladbrokes please

by the by worth checking out these guys ahead of the season. - redzonesports

i won't stick a link up, so you can find your own rather than me tying you in to an affiliate i am associated with but this was the BE write up on them recently

"Some friends of Neil and Joe are involved with a great new set up specialising in American sports, notably NFL, baseball and basketball. it is headed up by Steve Baumohl (former head of US sports at Sporting Index). They do also cover the other markets but in ones like the NFL they will be betting 1.95 each of two rather than the UK standard 10/11 in the handicaps and totals markets and over a season this will make a decent difference to us all.

They will lay a decent bet and won't close you down if you win. We will be using them and suggest that you give them a try too. They also take decent sized bets on the Premier League and betting to 104%. They are called Redzonesports"

Young Canadian Shapovalov is 100/1 to win his quarter with the Irish and BFSB. He may well lose in the first round today vs fellow young prospect Medvedev, but you have to take that price as he is in the very weak 4th quarter. market will probably close just after 4pm.

https://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/us-open/mens/mens-us-open/4th-quarter-winner

Great win over Tsonga last night and Shap is into 11/2 for the quarter. Plays Kyle Edmund of GB in the next round.

Rybarikova has done well. Ominous to be playing against Muguruza again though. eek! Bellis blew a third set lead and is out but Goerges is into the third round

Alex Zverev lost last night, so anyone with each way bets on players in the bottom half is in a great spot now...

That was so annoying - Bellis was 5-3 up in the final set then lost 4 on the spin.

Not sure if you have bet anything for Finals Day.  There's 1 bet I really like - Grant Elliott has been priced at O/U 34.5 player points (1 per run, 10 per catch, 25 per wicket).  It seems low for a player who always bowls, fields in key positions and bats at 4 or 5.  I had a quick look at his games this season:

runs / wickets / catches (points)
18 / 0 / 1 (28)
38 / 0 / 2 (58)*
21 / 1 / 0  (46)*
18 / 2 / 0  (68)*
14 / 0 / 1  (24)
0 / 4 / 0  (100)*
16 / 1 / 1  (51)
45 / 1 / 1  (80)*
23 / 0 / 0  (23)
38 / 1 / 0  (63)*
0 / 0 / 0  (0)
0 / 1 / 1  (35)
1 / 0 / 0  (1)
59 / 0 / 0  (59)
*indicates home game at Edgbaston

The over bet would have won on 9 of his 14 games this season, and 2 of the games it lost were very one sided where he didn't get to bat.  He's played 6 games at Edgbaston and it won all 6 times.  Not only that but it covered very comfortably each time (lowest score was 46) so a definite trend in games at Edgbaston.  I've only checked B365 but I imagine any other site offering it will have a similar line.  I'd put the O/U in the early/mid 40s if I were pricing it

Top Bowler - If they go with the line up I expect (Sibley, Pollock, Hose, Hain, Elliott, DeGrandhomme, Thomason, Ambrose, Woakes, Patel, Stone) then Stone, Woakes and Patel will bowl 4 each, with the other 8 being made up between Elliott, CDGH, Thomason & Sibley.  Woakes hasn't even been priced up by most bookies, so hard to do anything with the current market.

Top Bat - Bell joint favourite in most places, I can't see him playing though which opens things up a bit. Presuming things don't go horribly wrong the winner will come from the top 6 - Adam Hose comes in at 3 and will play very aggressively so he's got every chance if he bats for any period of time.   I'd price him at 4/1 max so if you can get the 9/2 at BetVictor then it's a decent fun value bet

Not a lot of value in the outright market.  The Bears look appropriately priced being given a 55% chance to make the final.  If they were to make the final, then given the home advantage and extra rest from playing in G1, they'd definitely be a favourite over Hampshire and no more than a small dog to Notts.  The 10/3 available on us earlier in the week was great value.  The 3/1 at has a little value and the widely available 11/4 is the break even price IMO.  FWIW you'd have to be mad to back Notts at 7/4 - I'm sure they will still get most of the public action, even at this price, which is why the bookies can get away with such short odds on them

is that 10/11 each of two?

bet365 only?

if so would need help

It's 5/6 but line is close to 10 points off so I still think great value.   It's not one of the markets covered by oddschecker unfortunately and I've not checked other bookies as B365 is the only UK bookie I can get on with.  WH usually offer this market but just checked and it's not up yet - maybe worth waiting 24 hours and hoping it's widely available if you can't get on with b365
