As to the results, we had a quiet year, but still managed an 11.7% ROI. Big thanks to all who contributed positively.

Good shout generally thinking Palace were value at 12/1. I was surprised to see City lacking potency and our rearguard performing a lot better than expected.

I thought Zaha dived a bit for that pen so the miss is fair, but I've only seen it once live.

De Bruyne should have done better with that cut back too.

I'm hearing Puncheon's challenge is a disgrace?

Think the pen was marginal, but easy to see why it was given. Once the attacker gets in that position then you really can't tackle or touch them.

You guys are very much in a false position, fully expect to see you in and around mid-table by May.

It really was a shithouse tackle from Puncheon. Hopefully no long term damage for Kev. Whilst I don't wanna see players stretchered off (I'm not Pogba), Puncheon only has himself to blame if he has a long layoff on the treatment table to look forward to.

Some great names there and to 95% of the public, these could have been made up by the people who did International Superstar Soccer on the SNES:



(For the non-gamers ITT, there was a licencing issue and so they had to make up plausible sounding player names for each team). This was in 1994.

Allejo was an absolute boss. Would be worth £500m today.

They got a bit braver by the time ISS hit the N64, spelling real players' names just slightly incorrectly. But the names didn't matter when the game play was streets ahead of the Playstation's FIFA.

New England will be spanking the Bryce Petty and the Hoboken Jets this weekend. The Jets are without a competent quarterback and might even give a rep to Christian Hackenberg before re-benching him.

The points line has been continually smashed since opening and now stands at 15.5 point head start. The Patriots are superb at beating these spreads; they marmalise weak teams.

They might decide to have the 4th quarter off, though, so we have to be mindful of that in week 17 games.

Get ahead early, score 24+ points in the first half and know the opposition won't get close.

Patriots -7.5 first half spread is 5/6 with Patrick Parr.

Amazing end in Cincinnati to break the longest playoff drought in football and some great videos on twitter of fans when the Boyd TD happened. The Bills also tweeted out a lovely thank you letter to the Bengals. That win also brought home Ravens u9.5 on the season for me which I thought had no chance of landing a week or two ago!

Of my longshots. Jarius Wright had a shot in the end zone but was interfered with and drew a penalty for it. No good for me. McCoy went out for the Bills but Williams got the obligatory fat-guy TD later in the game. Also had a few guys who scored a week after I'd tipped them, again. Elijhaa Penny and Chris Godwin. Frustrating season for me

agree, ISS pro evolution 2 was an incredible game! even got it out last years and had a binge on it for a couple of days!! Ronaldo hidden away in the brazil reserves at 50 points was the find!!

Could this blunder with Nike pissed them off and make them even less open to selling? He's cup tied for the Champs league and Barca have a 9 point lead in Spain so not exactly desperate for reinforcements.
