The overround on the Masters market promised to be the biggest I've ever seen.

Hello,i have to be quick so can't give this the full monty however

West Brom v Burnley Saturday

WBA are 7 points adrift , kept Pardew on as there was no one to replace him with and have 8 losses and a draw in their last ten games. One league win since 19th August

Burnley are 7th, won a couple of games before the break (3-0 at west ham, 2-1 home to Everton) and not only don't concede many but are in with a serious shot at Europe and need to carry on as they are to hold off Everton and lcfc (the failure of both to have much concerted form since Xmas has kept Burnley in 7th).

Their recent results arrested a slump on now wins in 11 games from 12th Dec til March and have coincided with the return to fitness of key players, notably the back four they are likely to play is that that did so well in the early part of the season

Lowton-Tarkowski-Mee-Ward

why are Burnley very nearly 2/1 underdogs?

https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/west-brom-v-burnley/winner

i very much like Burnley to win to nil too

Burnley have conceded 27 in 31 matches, west brom scored 24 in 31

100/30 available

Because they are away from home.   Secondly on the xg league table linked on here a few months ago Burnley 'should' have been in the bottom 5 in the league.  Don't think there is much debate Burnley are in a false position.

Not sure about that, arb. Their (defensive) system seems to have defied the basic xG models. Think Tighty wrote about this recently elsewhere.

Can't believe West Brom are 1/2 not to lose against a competent team that'll be trying.

You and Tighty might be correct.  I have no real opinion on the game.  i am simply saying why the market probably has them at 2/1.

A lot is made of scheduling in sport.  I was listening on talksport yesterday and they said some team had the fixture backlog from hell 19 games in 40 days.

http://www.nonleaguematters.co.uk/divisions/13/

Truly incredible run in they have.  No idea if you can bet on this stuff this far down the ladder but as part time players with a small squad they are going to be totally out on their feet physically never mind actually getting the time off work to play all these games.  Just incredible.

Think its a combo of the bad weather/deep runs in FA cup/vase over the season.  They have only played 10 games away and 13 at home so far so the travelling is even worse than it looks already.

Earning their crust for the rest of the season, for sure Cheesy

This made me laugh.

Paul Peschisolido on Neil Warnock taking the Sheffield Utd players bowling: "He convinced us all to put £10 in a pot, winner takes all. We agreed for some fun, then he pulled out his own bowling shoes and custom ball, shot 250 and took all our money".

25 games in hand over top of the league.

All whilst having to work full time jobs as well, and top teams complain about playing thrice weekly

Paddy power and betfair SB seem fast asleep with their early prices for those lucky enough to get the mythical prices.  Bald and 365 seem all over it and shorterned every wide in every race.

Rest of the meeting called off.  Bias was too big obviously.  Certainly nothing wrong with racing conditions at the track from the naked eye.

Blaming the weather.  They don't even say the hare rail was fucked!  Truly incredible.  The track was spot on for racing just wet.  No issues at all.  They have run in much worse snow/ice/frost than today.   Think lolorals had a big forecast/tricast doubles/trebles combo running up o the bias and decided to pull the plug.  Amazing what bookmakers can get away with when they own the track.  Accountable to no one.  Make their own rules up.  Only sorry when they are accountable and get caught like skybet.  If they don't get caught they never say sorry.  Only time they are sorry is when they get pulled to account.  They couldn't give a fuck about anyone but themselves.

#whenthefunstopscancelthemeeting

They even hashtag #welfare #soft ground #wet weather.  Since when has soft ground/wet weather stopped greyhounds running on a totally normal spring morning and made it a welfare issue?  half the meetings a year would be called off.

Am planning to watch Cubs @ Marlins at 5.40, & then Astros @ Rangers @ 8.35.

Not had a bet though, or not yet.

This bias from yesterday has carried forward to this afternoon's meeting.  Few more races left if you fancy a punt before the darts starts.

No trap 1 placed 1st or 2nd all afternoon so far.
