Well, that didn't work out well for Bottas, but guess the car still has enough of an edge.

Morning all,

I really like Noren today. What do you think? QF should be more straightforward for Reed if he makes it.

We are delighted you have chosen to open an account with us.

After years of offering an exclusive telephone-only betting service, Star Sports are confident you will find our new online service a refreshing change.

While we've become renowned for taking big bets, we're just as happy laying the smaller ones too. Our ethos at Star Sports has always been to lay you a fair bet at a fair price.

In days gone by, the relationship between bookmaker and client used to be a personal one. A far cry from the soulless experience of just being asked for your account number.

We intend to carry all those principals from nearly two decades worth of trading into our online service.

If you thought the game had gone? It's time to restore your faith.

Thanks again for choosing us

Ok, for one point...

Let's see if we can come up with a few well chosen darts for this race. Road to Riches a good start, perhaps, but should be one to have 3 or 4 horses in.

Andrew Lincoln played Egg, and only eggs bet on the Lincoln?

Used to love it back in the draw-bias days but chances are they'll all bundle down the middle today. One big group on soft ground, yikes!

I have backed a couple.

Leader Writer is around 11/1, but it is 12/1 bf and 3.6 the place.  Just feels like there isn't the quarter first 4 value around either.

I have Grey Brittain to, but it is best 22/1.  You look at odds checker and the blue suggests it is getting backed, but it is 27 on betfair, and you get 5.5/1 the place which matches betfair.

This doesn't suggest 3 or 4 is the way forward.

Maybe if you can get 6 places a fifth the odds on Shy it will be ok, but thread can't do that?   They lay me to lose £200 which is double the usual.

Big day in L1.

Plymouth can pretty much kill off Charlton's top six hopes. Would happily take a draw though.

I still think Poshies need a minor miracle to make the top six. Nine games left, four home and five away. The five aways come at Rotherham (4th), Plymouth (6th), Blackburn (1st), Shrewsbury (2nd) and Pompey (8th). If we don't beat Brizzle Gasboys today, it's pretty much gg. It's been an amazing effort to go this close tbh, given we have the worst midfield in the division.

Scunny at 3-5 and Plymouth at 11-8 both still look decent to me.

Scuy prices to start England's first match at the World Cup...10-11 Pickford, 15-8 Butland, 7-2 Hart.

I wouldn't want to lay Pickford at anything close to that price.

I reckon Noren to win it all is good. Maybe not one for Fred in running but everyone should load up at best available price.

Corals go ten places, 1/5 odds on the Masters.  However their book is 170% (best price is 128%) so even with the excellent place terms there can't be much value.

I suspect they won't be the only Firm offering 10 places, though I imagine the margins will also be adjusted in the same manner.

EDIT - Just seen Sky Bet have the same 10 place thing, &, presumably, the prices reflect that.
