Anyone else tempted by Ronnie at 3.8+?

I appreciate Maguire is a tough first round draw but seems a touch bigger than I expected

5-4 is ok for half-time/full-time.

Anyone else think the near evens on laying Chelsea on Saturday away to Burnley is a good bet? Can't imagine the price will hold.

Much prefer your boys at Watford @ around 7-4 tbh.

I don't know. I didn't watch the full 90 of the Brighton game so don't feel as clued in as i normally would. It did seem like in spite of our bite up top we were still very susceptible defensively. Also Watford have one more game than Brighton to assess our front two system of Zaha/Townsend, which Brighton probably didn't prepare properly for considering they expected Benteke to return to the team up top by himself. They corrected that at half time and effectively nullified us while looking the most likely to score themselves with around 3 solid chances to equalise.

I would avoid it as it just doesn't look value, but happy to bow to your footie knowledge Smiley

btw, for those that can, seemingly introduced today on Betfrid, bet £20+ on the outright market for the Snooker world champs and get £2 free bet with every 100+ break.

Nah, you know way more than me when it comes to Palace. Just happy to take on the Orns at every possible opportunity.

it's when your selection gets a 100+ break, not just generally. Thought i would make that note.

Blackburn choking big time here, but can't knock Posh for that first half performance.

Did not see it coming at all.

Posh must be one of the most difficult sides to predict in a while

Seem to throw in the odd very good performance just often enough

A game that sums up the Poshie season.

LDSL an embarrassment. Feel sorry for the kid, confidence is shot to pieces.

John Higgins (11/1), Williams (22/1), Kyren Wilson (33/1) & Ryan Day (40/1) all look tempting.

I guess it depends which Ronnie (9/4) turns up. If Ronnie gets turned over, some splendid value is there to be had. If.

Would love to see Ronnie at his best though. 9/4 hardly excites for a marathon, but we'd see some great snooker if he were to win.

Worrying the work rate dropped massively after it went 1-1.. not having it being a lack of fitness as a young side and Evans sides don't do that.

Got to be honest I think your squad on paper has done well to finish top half not sure it is any better than that?

I prefer to back ronnie when he has an easier early draw. Better that he only has to focus in the last week, rather than for a full 17 days. Maybe that's the wrong way round but it's certainly putting me off 9/4.

Maguire
Carter
Robertson
Hawkins
Selby

That's a grim draw. Most of all, those players are experienced stayers. Could add in the form Day or perennial foe John Higgins to that list.

Surely the draw is factored into the price?
