Whilst I'm here, City away at West Ham on Sunday.

We have a great record against the 'ammers (last 2 results at their new gaff were 0-4 and 0-5), and I foresee no let up from Pep in his team selection. Records are there to be broken. Hart can't play, but that's probably a good thing for them Wink

Don't think Fred can but City -1 at 5/6 (betstars) or 11/13 (sportingbet) would be my City based truck emptier of the weekend.

If you really wanna yolo it (and I'm mildly convinced we are due to pummel someone soon), -6 is 80/1 on shy. Stranger things have happened....

In before Adrian has the game of his life in nets on Sunday.

The French Open tennis is a few weeks away. Rafa Nadal looks absolutely imperious but the ladies side is as open as ever.

The player I want to highlight is someone who has the second highest clay data compiled by tennis analyst Dan Weston over the past 24 months just behind tournament favourite Simona Halep.
http://www.wtatennis.com/news/wta-insider-power-rankings-simona-halep-leads-way-clay

She was rated third in the WTA clay power rankings published on the WTA site last week - behind Halep and Serena
http://www.wtatennis.com/news/wta-insider-power-rankings-simona-halep-leads-way-clay

25-4 record on clay over the past 12 months. Already won a title this season on the green clay of Charleston - which doesn't play the same as European red clay, but is still a decent indicator. This was her first Premier title. She has two WTA clay titles last season and lost in French Open semis in 2016 in a tight one to Serena.

At 26, Kiki Bertens is in her prime, can beat anyone on clay - Yet she still seems to be somewhat under the radar. If we look at other good younger clay players who have had 'breakouts' and their French Open odds we have Osatpenko and Kasatkina at 16s and Svitolina (who has been overall more consistent over the calendar year) at . So their upside seems well factored in, despite Svitolina and Kasatkina also having poor grand slam records.. Yet Kiki Bertens is available at 66/1. This to me seems like a great bet.

Now if we look at the negatives, she has never contested a Grand Slam final and dealt with that pressure. In fact she has only gone beyond the third round once in a Grand Slam. She also took a tough loss to Pliskova in Stuttgart this week where she was second best. And she won't be a top seed, so she could get stuck with a tricky draw.

She is clearly a clay court specialist and performs a lot higher level on clay than any other surface - if we look at the data and look at the price they don't match up. I'd say the doubts over her Grand Slam pedigree are more than factored into the price and in the absence again of any big favourite at Roland Garros (remember Ostapenko last year) - then I think this is a great each way bet.

Recommend £20 each way at 66/1 with Badly - Kiki Bertens - French Open

1/5th first five or 1/4 first four?

Are they much of a muchness Doobs/ Arb or is there a preference?

Carrying on from last weekends discussion is there any support for Celtic to clinch the league at home to Rangers on Sunday. From memory 4/7 is bigger than previous starting prices.

It's the Azerbaijan GP this weekend. Disappointed to see a lack of decent prices in the midfield, but there is value to be had at the front of the grid.

Pole Position: Sebastian Vettel @ 14/5 with BetStars. Based on what I have seen so far this weekend, I'm struggling to picture anyone other than the Ferrari's at the front. 14/5 is an excellent price here, suggest £50.

https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/azerbaijan-gp/pole-position

Race Winner: Daniel Ricciardo
@ 11/2 with various (I got boosted to 6/1 will Hills for some reason). Red Bull may struggle in qualifying, but their long run pace today was very strong. That, in combination with the crazy racing we get on this circuit, as well as the 80 kph winds expected on Sunday, makes 11/2 a very good spot. Suggest £20. EW is an option, but I'm going for the win personally.

https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/azerbaijan-gp/winner

Podium Finish: Kimi Raikkonen @ 2/1 with William Hill and Bet Stars. Thin value here, but value nonetheless. Purely because the Ferrari is the fastest car on the grid right now. Suggest £10.

https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/azerbaijan-gp/top-3-finish

Also, one for the season.

Championship Winner: Daniel Ricciardo @ 25/1+ with various. Red Bull are getting stronger compared to their rivals, and I don't think we'll see prices this high again for a while. It could be argued that this is a bad spot because the Renault "Tag Heuer" engine will have reliability issues later in the season .. but that's certainly not guaranteed. I like this price, it should be a good sweat. Suggest £20.

did we ever get on Bournemouth vs Southampton.  I think Tighty put it up.   Still 5.2 on the exchange and 17/4 at some smaller bookies.

Also lot of good handicaps at Sandown.   Betting emporium has put a couple up.

Apologies for the short notice on this one, but that'll nearly always be the case for Formula E with the entire race event taking place over one day.

Suggest £25 for Sam Bird @ 5/1 with Sky Bet for those who can. Only bookie offering odds I'm afraid.
