Turns out the shortlist of six for SPOTY was finalised BEFORE the Fury-Wilder fight.

Tyson and Ronnie never had a chance of making it in that case.

Whats the point...such a joke....

As I said my faith in the BBC and this sort of thing has taken a right bashing. All pre fixed etc.

Got a great tale about Masterchef about how rigged it all is but must wait til after a person I know has had episode aired, and NDA has lapsed.

If Frog or Toad fancy them they get to the final? That's been going on for years. Toad even managed to bag one of the celebs.

5k sports bonus ok for you?

Main thing with this is how do the bets get through the system without any checks?

Try and have a cash bet in a ladbrokes/coral shop of more than £25 quid and it goes through about 4 people minimum.

https://twitter.com/BettingIsCool/status/1074783044077264896

Not advertising the service or anything, just once again shows how much variance there is when betting on racing or anything for that matter. even with a very large sample.

Something I often underestimate but am starting to get my head round more

I had this discussion with a few decent judges during the hughes v jose match and said it was very hard to see a runner apart from those two.  I totally agree with everything you have posted and think the no gaffer to go could easily be value when jose disappears.

Ole Gunnar the latest favourite. I really can't see it though.

I wouldn't put anyone off at 33/1.

Couple of concerns like Dyche, but most managers look in one way or another pretty secure in their employment.

Puel and Hodgson maybe? Though at 33/1, some degree of risk is fine.

Yeah there are certainly one or 2 managers looking over their shoulders, but that will always be the case. I'd suggest no-one is at immediate risk, though plenty can change around the busy Christmas schedule in time for the January transfer window.

I'd say Puel and Dyche are the only real concerns at the moment, when in spots like this you can often have half a dozen or more managers looking in mild to serious trouble.

I wouldn't take less than 20s, but think 33s represents a decent punt for those that can on Shy.

Pep is coming to the end of his usual 3 year tenure. Maybe he'll fancy the challenge of getting a midtable team into contention.
