Think the Barnet bet looks a little better now. They lost, & Plymouth & D&R both won.

Which is good for us. I think.

Big game Tuesday when  Barnet  play Dag & Redbridge at home

Followed by Macclesfield away.

Fail towin either of those and Barnet are in deep doo doo.

Their next four games:

Home to Torquay (currently 2nd)
Home to Swindon (top)
Away to Cheltenham (5th)
Home to Crawley (6th)

Yum yum.

Worth investing a little more, then?

Depends on the price obv.

I would play now at 5/1. Maybe 9/2

Doubt it will be available.

If it isn't, wait and see what happens next two games. Dagenham are shocking too, but they won today, so hopefully will be going into the game with a little confidence.

Come on you Daggers!

11/2 available at betvictor btw.

Thanks Lewis.

Well Camel said it depends on the price, & is was play @ "5/1, maybe 9/2", so that looks like a good price. He's probably still in bed, & the price won't last too long, so.....

Time to have my first press.

ON, £50, BetVictor

You have successfully placed 1 bet(s)

Total possible returns 325.00

BET RECEIPT Single Selections
To Be Relegated
Barnet
(To Be Relegated - Outright)
Odds:  11/2
Stake:  50.00
Possible Return:  325.00

Yep, nice bet.

I'm half tempted to make the 600 mile round trip to come to Tuesday's game!

I'm so looking forward to the day when Tony's skybet account gets restricted.

Cliffs for last 4 days.

Was unable to update daily, due to combo of working away, workload, & time lost due to.......

We escaped Cheltenham relatively unscathed, in fact I think we made a small profit overall, always a result (many would swap for that!) thanks to the Finians Rainbow bet by Mahagony, & Simon G's Top Trainer bet which won so easily it was not even a sweat. "hard held, head in chest, won pulling up"

Nice touch on Bilbao by Chompy, offset by Chelsea's remarkable recovery v Napoli, compounded by the fact that for some reason I backed it twice.

We seem to have been a shade unlucky on several good things, but I guess that's the gamblers mindset, delusion ftw.

Thread has never been better than the last few days, with some great educational analysis of betting maths.

We have quite a position building on Barnet to be relegated, perfect "long term sweat" that. Barnet next play on Tuesday, & plenty will be watching that result with interest.

Value bet gongs go to Mahagony Vic (Finians Rainbow) & Simon G (Top Trainer).

I shall try to find something nice to say about Chompy & sicilian soon.

That's us then, back up to date.

If you spot any obvious errors, let me know.

Merespreadsheet is keeipng one of his ace spreadsheets on the whole thing, including one Tab which measures the P & L of each & every Tipster. Huge chirping & dissing rights in that, but I don't want to publish it, as some guys may be put off further tips if they see "lower" against their name!

Comedy highlights in the last week were a value bet on football which sunk 7-0, & a Chompty football bet on Posh v Blackpool, which was so bad it must have been rigged.

No bets have been made for today, or the next few days, that I am aware, so a quiet spell ahead.

A link to Mr Mere's spreadsheet to date is below.

I have asked him to remove the "Individual Tipster" Tab, which he has done, for the reasons I stated earlier. No need for bruised egos.

It has 3 Tabs.....(bottom left)

By individual sports.

February

March

Many thanks to Vince for that.

If any other punters want help with spreadsheets for keeping track, we know a man who can.....

I will wait for the stream of abuse, well challenges as this is a nice place, from the Newcastle haters, however I think the 4/5 on offer from Paddy Power makes them a bet today. Norwich have lost 3/4 and only taken a point from Wigan. They haven't really got a huge amount to play for - they are safe, while Pardew has issued a rallying call for 5 wins and stated his desire for a top six finish and Europa league football. Tiote is only slight concern for Newcastle, although I am pretty sure he'll play and nothe end of the world if he doesnt as we'll either slot Guthrie in or play Ben Arfa slightly advanced.

If this was Liverpool at home they would be 4/7-8/13 - and Newcastles home for. Is stronger without doubt still only two losses all season at home.

Newcastle 4/5 - Paddy Power

The more I think about pressing the Anderson bet whilst behind the more I like it. He has most of his "home" games out of the way, where he tends to choke, Lewis is continuing to look shoddy, and he is only 15 behind which he could take care of in 3/4 good weeks.

In short, if he finds his accuracy, no reason he can't still close it. Therefore if th extended price represents "value" it be inclined to get more on

Others to provide comment on price

Newcastle 4/5 - Paddy Power

Paddy Power do seem to be out of step with the general market and it can be laid at 1.72 on Betfair.

Newcastle 4/5 - Paddy Power

The 4/5 is no longer available.

SkyBet and Corals have the best current price - 8/11 - with 3/4 available in 2 spots elsewhere.

Still a bet @ 8/11, I assume?

Currently 1.75 on Betfair, too. That's 3/4 I assume, less commission?
