Yup, bad news that.

My own fault (on the sixes bet) for going in early, but I knew fully the risks.

What with that, & the dicey weather forecast, our bet looks more like a Banzai now.

Yes, it looks too good to be true. Which usually means it is.....Wink

We currently have £100 @ 11/10.

Given encouragement, I'd add the extra £50 I guess, though I'm quite happy with what we have already.

Thought you had a bwin account? They were 6/5 at the time.

I do have a BWin account.

I was at DTD at the time, on my ippy, and "BWin" would not "load" on my ippy (do BWin have a Mobile App?) so I had to go to BetVictor instead, at the lesser price of 11/10.

I genuinely thought the price would not last until I got back home, which turned out to be about 5am Sunday morning, hence I decided to take the 11/10 whilst I could. It seemed the right thing to do.

Because I had not "confirmed" the bets properly whilst at DTD on my ippy - it is hard to Post coherently whilst on the ippy & pokering - when I got home, I had to e-Mail Vince confirming all the bet details. Presumably I told him "Bwin" rather than BetVictor, which was my mistake, though I correctly stated it was 11/10, & spready reflects this.

Well one reason being postulated is that the inexperienced referees are very susceptible to home crowds, and thus inferring a greater home advantage than normal.

Studies have been done and the conclusion that home advantage in all sports comes purely from officials being swayed by home crowds.
