Patrick Power has an offer today, bet £20 on the NBA game between OKC and San Antonio before 1.35am tip off n get a free £20 in running bet. Plenty I fancy before the tip, is is better just to back the same thing twice with these offers n basically get double the odds on a bet u fancy anyway? Also u can watch the match online on Paddy's site

Just a random top up to the Palace argument, it looks probable that we are appointing Michael Appleton.

What do you guys think of our promotion chances with him?

No different than they are now.

Quite frankly I would take someone that would come in and not destabilise! Would be nice.

Matt Slater‏@mattslaterbbc

A bloke who should know tells me Ian Holloway has been approached by #cpfc but "it's far from done"...it will be, tho #blackpool

Yeh it is basically happening. I am hopeful about this and think he can start turning our draws into wins and hopefully still keep our defence solid.

All the way to the Prem? Yes please!

I can't see why the Palace job is more appealing than staying at Blackpool?

With the stake not being returned I've always found some 8/1 shot on the side I fancy i.e man city 2-0. Think its correct but probably depends on willingness to gamble

We have the best form in the league, unbeaten in 10 winning 7, have the best player in the league in Wilfired Zaha. Have solid players in all positions including one of the top goalkeepers in the league. Also a player in Damian Delaney who hasn't lost all season in the league playing 10 games. He is awesome.

We also play quite an exciting attacking style that Holloway will be able to relate to. I think too he obviously sees the potential to get us promoted automatically. Remember we have recently dispatched of the top two teams in the league in relatively convincing fashion. I wasn't at the Leicester game Tightend before you have a go at me for saying that but i heard reports to suggest we were on top for the majority and the same can be said for the 3-2 home win against Cardiff where we were two goals down, but aside from their goals, controlled the match.

Exciting times at Palace. There isn't a game i don't think we will win, but without Zaha we are almost certainly a mid table outfit.

Hmm, not sure on some of what you said really.

Zaha, best player, really? Maybe if you said one if, then you hit nail on head, but is?

Also, not sure managers look at others jobs and say "gosh, Delaney hasn't lost a game in 10, I'm going to join them" lol. Also you mention solid players, but yet you are questionable at the back?

I'm not really sure you will be up there at the end if the season & most other clubs fans have you down as mid table too. So we will have to see. Also not really sure what IH has to gain from moving from Blackpool to Palace. Nothing much financially & hardly anything between the teams on the pitch to be honest.

Living in London may be more appealing than living in Blackpool. Hell, living in Scunthorpe is probably more appealing than living in Blackpool.
Not having an Oyston as your chairman is probably on the plus side too.

We are beginning to be less questionable at the back because Moxey has been dropped and Ward is now starting. Blake in for Ramage at CB and we are very solid indeed.

I may be limited in my knowledge of players in this league but if we were making a top 5 who is in it with Zaha? Bellamy, Whittingham, Ince, Austin from the top of my head? Regardless actually of a ranking system, he is probably the most effective player with the most pull for Palace as opposed to any other player for their team in the championship.

Needs to be seen to be believed, he is special.

Is there a way of placing a bet for Palace not to lose in their next four as a quadruple bet? I could see myself backing large if so.

Can someone explain to me how Palace are 1.95 to beat Ipswich at home on Tuesday?

Looked at some early basketball spreads the one that stood out to me was New Orleans Hornets +3.5 at home vs the Jazz.

Hornets did very well in the draft picking up 3 very promising youngsters and they showed this in their first game at home to the Spurs when the Hornets were in control for most of the game but were finally outdone by the veteran spurs in the 4th Q. I think they can definitely compete with a very weak road team like the Utah Jazz though who had a road record of 11-22 last season.

This hornets team is going to surprise a few people this year imo although they won't be world beaters I think the playoffs is a real possibility this year.

Also think there is some value in the ML @ 6/4

Im on the spread though @ +3.5 before it moves as I have learnt from the trail blazers bet i suggested before the odds slashed Sad they obviously won convincingly too Sad
